The Cubs have enjoyed unbelievable prosperity from the late 80's into the 21st century, with a small capacity stadium. Some people don't buy into the idea that they have to suck for years AND rebuild the golden goose "Wrigley" in order to build and sustain a competitive team. That's selling a bill of goods.

If it sticks at 120 mil after everything is said and done while they are turning profit hand over fist....I'm done and over it. Got better things to do with my time then get pissed at these clowns.

With the amount of added revenue they will be getting from the jumbotron and luxury hotel, plus you can bet your ass that ticket prices will go up as well, they better get the payroll up to the $150M level like teams like Boston, Philly, Angels and Detroit.

The Boston Red Sox managed to pay for the renovation of Fenway Park without dumping payroll, win Championships and build their farm system all at the same time.

But somehow that seems to be thought an impossible task for the Cubs to attempt.

I'm already fed up with the mythical stigma that is Wrigley Field.

It's a complete waste of money to watch this shit at the ball park for what they charge.

Not to mention eating and drinks of any kind.

It's currently beyond pathetic.

I didn't mind going as much as possible when they actually had a team constructed that had a legit chance.

I watched the game on TV when Garza pitched. As soon as he was replaced I turned on a different channel.

My interest was over with after that point and appeared to be the right decision afterall.

No way I'm paying to watch this shit at Wrigley.

The Cubs can dress up the park to rape the fans of their money all they want.

They won't get my money until they spend their's on the ML product on the field.

That's my fan "commitment" to them.
