Goaltending is down the list of needs...a good defenseman or 2 will help the goaltending immensly

Doesn't tawau from how pathetic Crawford is.

Don't know how Salak is quitting on Rockford- think that is a beat up - his stats shpw:

53 Alexander Salak 17 857 40 2.80 4 9 0 3 0 362 0.900

A 4 - 9 record, but a 2.8 GAA with a .9% save percentage -- if you average giving up less than 3 goals, but manage to lose 9 games - looks more like a wider defense problem (unless there were a lot of recent lop-sided losses). At any rate - they look like your basic average stats.

Anyone following Rockford closely can feel free to comment if the stats are shwoing something I'm missing.

these next 24 hours cannot come soon enough...

cant wait to stop hearing people complain about everyone on the hawks and make comments about hossa being benched and how we need to trade for nash even though it has been said 10000000 times that the hawks arent on his list...

Who says bench Hossa?

Numbers on the story on Salak. It's what's going on inside his head.

From Chris Block's "The Third Man In" blog:

Alexander Salak appears to have lost the team after an on-ice blowup in Hamilton in his last start on February 18. In that loss, Salak surrendered three goals in a span of 38 seconds in the final minutes of regulation. The IceHogs were leading 2-1 with five minutes to go when everything broke down. Salak was pulled from the net after allowing the last of the goals in the 38 second span. It was the latest in a series of episodes this season when Salak has lost his composure during a game.

He's not going to be called up anytime soon. Carter Hutton would be the guy, if any, to get promoted. I'm going to try and find more info on what exactly happened with Salak.

The guy has played in 17 games -- I hardly think that makes the guy Belfour or Brodeur (Martin not Richard).

The blog doesn't say anything about why the writer is a hockey expert, so I don't really know anything about the author.

You got how much in cap room- and you want Campoli ? Why ?

You'd do better with Hamrlik if it is about going out on the cheap.

At this point im just desperate for a defenseman

its also been reported the hawks are looking more for a puck mover than a stay at home guy...

that spells C-A-M-P-O-L-I

Technically it has been reported that the Hawks are looking for pretty much anything you imagine - probably even a shooting guard, and a game breaking wide receiver...

so who knows?
