Just because they CLAIM he quitted doesnt make it fact.
Only Lebron would know if thats fact or fiction....

i dont think management should have put out Rose was cleared without getting on the same page with Rose first anyway

and i dont believe Rose would sit out if he felt he could play

besides Rose would of been no help against miami...he cant beat miami's trapping defense fully healthy moreless after taking a year off

What hero worship?

I was the first on this board that said his MVP days are now behind.

No you are NOT.
When you have time, search through the forums history and you will find that I have on plenty of occasions ive mentioned that Derrick Rose's MVP days are gone, and return I was bombarded with hatred from other for members for telling the truth.I said this is far back as 2 years ago on this sites very same forum...

Well, I wasn't here 2 years ago & I didn't lurk before joining, so you're probably correct. I'm not gonna argue with you about it....LOL.

He quit in game 5. You keep throwing up numbers from game 6 after he had already shown that he was uninterested in winning the series in prior games.

LOL...and you are on a message board being delusional.

How the hell do you know if they've moved on or not? You don't have a clue! Rose and his group are STILL at odds with the FO, where have you been?

You totally missed the point on Lebron...again

Culpable for what?.......Taking his time recovering from an ACL tear?

JR & the FO needed the allure of a Rose return to sell late season tickets & garner playoff revenue. It kept the fanbase interested in the product.

They played the emotional segment of the base like a violin. It worked so well that people like you are still bitter.

Your argument doesn't hold water because Gar stated a few weeks ago that Nate & Belli were signed to replace Rose last season. The Bulls FO never had intentions of Rose returning nor did they have any intentions of gunning for a championship last season.

TBH, I even got fooled for a little while because of the "cleared" leak. That was until I figured out what they were doing & Gar began taking photos laughing with Reggie Rose.

Dr. Cole, Rose, & several NBA players stated that the mental hurdle was the hardest part of returning from an ACL injury.

Now, you're being silly.

Dude, I don't have time to get into the back & forth.

Everyone that matters (Rose, JR, Thibs, GarPax, teammates) have moved on from last season. You're still on a message board being bitter.

Hilarious....you have plenty of time....you even went and linked a youtube video. Because you don't get the point.

If he was cleared to play, he should have played...period. And what is really sad is this crap..."they weren't going to beat the Heat anyways..." Oh great, what a bunch of friggin' Einsteins...been saying that for years...and now you use that as an excuse...

for the franchise player to sit on his ass and NOT play? Then why did Nate play when he was sick? Why did Taj and Noah play? They were in WORSE physical condition than Rose was.....why did Deng show up AGAINST doctor's orders? Give it a rest...you post videos explaining what I already stated, and that is Lebron essentially quit on his team (reading is fundamental)....my issue with your comments is that you can see Lebron, healthy quitting...though its obvious he gave some effort...then you want to pick out a certain game and give the point and time he quit on the team. However, you are totally oblivious to the idea of Rose's selfish actions and those of his "handlers" didn't show that he quit?

Lebron, Kobe both accused of quitting on their teams....when they suited up and played. But Rose made a wise decision, sitting there in a suit yelling instructions and refusing to play, though he was told a month earlier "you can play now"? Look at all the excuses he had? "I can't dunk off my left foot", "I can't beat an NBA double team"....bull....shit! You can drink the kool aid all day...not me dude. Too old and too smart for that.

Here is the original leak from the organization...
http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/stor...aiting-dunk-confidently-left-foot-source-says

So please tell me WHEN did JR sign off on this "off the court" approach when Forman and Thibs were saying the same damn bullshit for weeks, even into the playoffs? It wasn't about tickets....they were selling out when Bryce Drew and Eddie Robinson were there years prior. But can you blame them if they want the star player to make his much anticipated, highly marketed return?

Its all about objectivity bruh...if I can state on this forum that Lebron, Kobe and Pippen have quit on their teams at different times....then yeah, I can say the same about Rose. Nothing to be bitter about. You are the one acting as if you were told for the first time there is no Santa Claus...not me. Its reality. Don't blame me.

I linked a couple videos that validated my point.

If he was cleared to play, he should have played...period. And what is really sad is this crap..."they weren't going to beat the Heat anyways..." Oh great, what a bunch of friggin' Einsteins...been saying that for years...and now you use that as an excuse...
The underlined is your opinion.

Your opinion is not shared by the people that matter: Rose, Reinsdorf, GarPax, Thibs, Bulls players, & NBA stars league-wide.

for the franchise player to sit on his ass and NOT play? Then why did Nate play when he was sick? Why did Taj and Noah play? They were in WORSE physical condition than Rose was.....why did Deng show up AGAINST doctor's orders?
Nate, Taj, nor Noah were coming back from a career-altering ACL surgery.

Luol Deng fought against the FO several years ago when they wanted him to return from a leg injury. He refused & was vindicated after he went for a second opinion that showed he had a stress fracture. Luol Deng also fought against the FO earlier this season when they initially diagnosed him to be out a single game. He ended up sitting out 9 games.

No. You're twisting the original argument about Lebron. Posters can read those posts on the previous page to see for themselves.

You stating that Rose "quit" is simply asinine.

Bitterness.

I've posted several links & quotes in multiple posts. Like I said before, you have a bad habit of ignoring info that contradicts your agenda.

It wasn't about tickets....they were selling out when Bryce Drew and Eddie Robinson were there years prior. But can you blame them if they want the star player to make his much anticipated, highly marketed return?
Season ticket holders were forced to purchase playoff tickets in advance of a deadline set in place by the Bulls organization. If they would have said Rose wasn't returning before that deadline hit, they would have run the risk of losing revenue of potential home playoff games.

None of those players' actions are comparable to Derrick Rose's decision to come back slowly from a career-altering injury.

I see that you're stuck on your anti-Rose crusade & nothing will change your thinking. I'm done with the conversation, man.

lol damn this thread escalated quickly

I personally think that the FO "cleared" Rose as a response to Reggie ripping the FO at the trade deadline, but the FO/Rose should've been more definitive about that whole situation, the whole situation was a clusterfuck. Maybe Rose really did try to come back nobody really knows. And who really know how the Bulls would've done in the 2nd round. Let's not forget Rip was actually healthy but Thibs didn't play him until game 5 and he actually showed up, I'm not saying the Bulls would've won the series or even more than 1 game, but it could've been different. But either way that was last season...**** last season

Now if the Bulls really do make moves this season, expect them around February around the ASG/Trade deadline. If they don't plan on bringing Deng back, then trade him, if they do want him back, then work on an extention, I just hope our "big" move isn't just overpaying Deng and only bringing Mirotic over

Dude, you are stuck on a "Rose walks on water" crusade that I want nothing to do with. He is not above criticism and with his antics over the past year, there is more than enough there to criticize. You should have been done with the conversation long ago, right around the time you failed to prove a point. And nice of you to ignore the Melissa Isaacson column....but eventually, the truth will come out fully, then people will see, Rose doesn't walk on water...but hang in there, someone believes you, just not me.

People can debate whether or not Lebron quit at the end of the single game, but it pales in comparison to flat our refusing to play while healthy for multiple months. Derrick Rose is a quitter. Which, by itself, would be bad enough. But to be a quitter, in addition to being a cripple AND stupid -- well, that takes the cake. Derrick Rose is probably the dumbest human being who ever graced the planet earth. He makes Nick Young look like a MENSA member.

Lebron possibly quitting during a quarter in a single game cannot be compared to sitting for multiple months because you aren't 110% lol. Only a dumb cripple would say that.

Rose is extremely talented, but he's just not a leader, and I've been saying it from day one.

The problem is this website is full of homers who are casual fans and so emotionally attached to these players that they have no objectivity whatsoever.

Anyway, the Bulls have at least two 1st round picks in next year's draft. I think Augustine has potential, but if they're smart, the Bulls will draft one of the top ranked PGs with one of those picks. Rose is due to make $19 MIL next year. If he gets seriously injured again in 2014, I would move him for whatever I can get and be done with it.
