Jumbotron = untapped revenue stream.

Money = good.

If ricketts wants to make money....get a sponsor the naming rights of the stadium...I know it would be unpopular....

Money=good right?

They'd have to redo the support beams and maybe fix up the grandstand so those obstructed views will go away. Again, if they're stuck on that same plot of land surrounded by Clark, Addison, Sheffield, and Waveland, they won't be able to expand the footprint much more than it currently sits on. There would be a lot of restrictions on the site.

Might have to play a few games in Puerto Rico like the Expos did back in the day, if no other MLB team will want to share during a renovation/rebuild :lol:

You'll be looking at completely redoing the entire main grandstands.. Completely.. Even the exterior walls come down.

I thought the Wrigley company hadn't been part of the team for a while now and the name was only symbolic. And I am aware that you were making a funny :D

Man I need to get rich quick so I can visit Wrigley before it gets taken down. That is Cubs (baseball) history!

Outside of a few "player moments", the successful history of Wrigley field is confined to the Bears.

Yeah but the place is the oldest living ballpark next to Fenway now. Plus as you mentioned player moments, but there has been quite a few of those.

Wrigley Field's history is losing, part from the Bears, the Sting, and the Whales.

The question to ask is whether the Cubs can win a World Series before Wrigley Field crumbles under its own age.

The Cubs won't win until they show a fondness for goats, and not as a publicity stunt, but as a genuine charity.
