Plans for Black Friday always center around working on the Christmas lights, I don't shop unless I have to...unless it's a home improvement store.

I've gone in years past and found some pretty good deals even without waiting in line for hours and hours. But this year unless there's a deal I absolutely can't pass up, I'm probably not going out.

Walmart just opened a new store close to my place a few years back, and i live in a SMALL college town. I went at 9am last year to walmart, expecting the store to be picked over, and everything was still in stock. I could've gotten a 32'' Flatscreen LCD HDTV for $200.

Plan on going back this year. ha.

I've heard that a lot about Walmart. People have said that they still have a bunch of stuff in stock even in the afternoons... Other stores like Best Buy, Target, Kohls, etc are a different story

Im just happy with Gamestops, buy 2 get one free deals. Though if it wasnt for the ridiculous crowds, I wouldve loved to gone after a big ass tv. Went last year to walmart and found it disgusting.

The problem with Wal-Mart is that since they are open 24 hrs, they have started passing out tickets for the early bird items at like 10 PM the day before. So you have to wait in line to get the ticket, then wait in line again to actually get the product. Best Buy started doing this the past couple of years as well.

Last year everyone started their BF sales at midnight. So by 6AM or so everyone was pretty much done.

The people that start camping out on Wednesday or Thursday are completely insane.
