I've heard lots of talk about employees upset that their stores are pushing the start times for Black Friday sales back to Thursday evening. The 2 biggest are Target and Wal-Mart. I don't understand why Wal-Mart employees are upset since they are always open on Thanksgiving anyway. The only day they close is Christmas. What time the sales start shouldn't have any affect on them.

The Target employees make a little more sense but that's life working retail. I worked at a 24-hour Osco many years ago and I had to work on Christmas day. The place was absolutely packed. I didn't like it so I got a job working 9-5 M-F instead. I'm sure if these Target employees don't like it, the company has plenty of other people looking for work that would be willing to come in Thanksgiving night.

At my house this year we won't have Thanksgiving dinner until Friday because my wife works 3rd shift Wednesday night and then gets to go back in Thursday afternoon for a few more hours. So I really don't have much sympathy for the Target and Wal-Mart employees that are whining.
