Oh, ok! :D

but why?

 bug in the programming. Anyways, it bases everything on tPER. You can trade a 5mpg player with a 15PER for a 30mpg player with an 11 PER, and you'll lose games.

With this being the largest collection of recliner Chicago Bulls GMs in the world, I thought it'd be nice to have a phony trade thread to act out our wildest fantasies.
Chicago Bulls trade
PF Carlos Boozer
C Omer Asik
SG Kyle Korver

Atlanta Hawks trade
PF Josh Smith
SF Marvin Williams

Why this trade works for the Hawks

Josh Smith has voiced his displeasure with the lack of ownership stability in Atlanta, as well as the inability to get out of the second round. Marvin Williams has been unable to find himself and people have continually viewed him as a bust. A change of scenery would seem to be the best option for both players. In return, Smith's energy and production on both ends of the court with Boozer's offense and Asik's energy and defensive upside. Korver offers some scoring and shooting ability off the bench if Jamal Crawford leaves in free agency.

Why this trade works for the Bulls

Carlos Boozer's injury history and lack of defense would be negated by the addition of Josh Smith. Not only is Smith able to shoulder some scoring load, but he's insurmountably better on defense and putting him next to Joakim Noah would create one of the most fearsome defensive front courts in the NBA, especially with Luol Deng's defensive improvement over the last few years.

Marvin Williams would get a clean slate and a chance to ignite some energy into our second unit. Although he's probably close to his ceiling, he is still only 25 and hits close to 50% of his 2-point shot. In addition, he's got enough length to be pesky on defense. You also have to ask yourself this -- would you rather have Korver for two more years and $10 million or Williams for three more years at $21 million?

Again this is just for fun. Not rumor based or anything. Just thought it would be fun to piece together some deals.

I didnt read all of that but i just wanted to ask. Marvin Williams is included in your wildest fantasy?

The sad thing is, I like Marvin Williams. He makes 7.5m/y, but at 2-3m/y off the bench, he's getting both fair value, and provides a great option for nearly any team competing for a title.

If the Hawks didn't screw up so bad with their contracts, they could ideally amnesty him and Marvin would go under the radar, we wouldn't have a bad deal for a backup.

He's not my 'wildest' fantasy either, I just genuinely think that'd be an interesting trade for the Bulls.

My 'wildest fantasy' would be to trade Noah, Boozer, Korver and a first-round pick for Dwight Howard and Hedo Turkoglu and ride the wave to some more 60-win seasons.

Rose, Brewer, Deng, Gibson and Howard? With Watson, Turkoglu, Asik, Butler and Bogans coming off the bench? Sign a few guys with the MLE and you're dominating the East for the next 5 to 7 years.

Dude was all heart and effort out there. How could dislike that? Ah well...to each his own I guess.

I ldove players like that but that was before I got to see him play I guess because the only nocioni I know is the soft one who played for Sacramento and now is a back up in Philly, if I had seen him him play hard on the bulls I probably wouldve loved watching him
