Maps, Missions, Modes Coming to Modern Warfare 3 - Xbox 360 News at IGN

Without direct specifics, a new page on the official Call of Duty website reveals exactly the type of content coming with its Content Drops through September.

Here's the month-by-month breakdown:

January: 2 Maps -- Liberation and Piazza
February: 1 Map
March: 1 Map, 2 Missions
April: 2 Maps
May: 1 Map, 1 Mission
June: 1 Map, 1 Mission, 1 Mode
July: 2 Maps
August: 1 Map, 1 Mission, 1 Mode
September: 1 Map, 1 Mission

Considering yesterday's offerings, what do you want out of additional maps? And with new game modes coming out, what would you like to see?

Modern Warfare 3's Next DLC Announced - News - www.GameInformer.com

Last month saw the nine-month Modern Warfare 3 DLC "season" kick off, with the release of two new maps. Today, Activision has announced that the next update will arrive on February 21st. Overwatch is the name of the new map that will be available to Call of Duty Elite members, and it takes place high above New York City.

From the looks of the screens, there should be plenty of construction to navigate, and most likely many areas to fall to your death.

The new game mode "Infected" was super fun at first, but now with throwing knives on every map and camping spots blocked off it sucks

Its a new mode on the community playlist. Everyone (18 max players) starts out on the same team, same weapons, same everything. Then after a few seconds one of the players becomes "infected" and has to kill someone. Once they kill someone, that person also becomes infected, but now they can only use the tactical knife and throwing knife (unless the mode is Striker v Juggernaut). Their goal is to kill everyone, while all the people not infected still can use what every weapon they're assigned at the beginning. It gets insane once the sides even up 9 to 9. Then the infected people move around in mobs and overwhelm all the individual players. But the strategy for the non-infected players is to group up in a confined space and pick off any infected members that come near you. It's pretty fun. And the matches don't last too long either.

Some bastards just find a patch of weeds and hide the whole time. It's like a big game of hide and go seek and tag, but once you're tagged, you and the person that tagged you are still it until everybody is tagged.
