Also IMO the sox can easily obtain him due to his contract status, but some dumb ass GM is going to give better specs due to his "miracle" run. I still think he fits the dodgers well and will go there.

Agreed about Dempster, there are 10 teams interested in him right now and teams with greater need for an arm. I am hopeful for the return on him.

according to CSN there were scouts from the sox on demp.

also talks with mil about greinke and the twins about liriano

imo il take liriano over demp for the simple fact that his miracle pitching has driven up his value and what we have left i dont want to give up for a rental player who may not be able to do the same in the AL. Liriano knows the division and wouldnt cost as much as demp or greinke.

but whoever kw gets im sure will be an upgrade and help bolster the staff.

I also think that the chances the Sox get Liriano are higher than them getting any of the other two or three guys out there on the market.

Liriano isn't an ace like Greinke or Dempster, but he's good enough for the Sox. He's top three which is what the Sox need for the playoff push and playoffs.
