That one in particular I don't fault him for because it wasn't just random conversation as it is like talking about Eddie O's wife's cookies or whatever. They were talking about a Hawks employee who had just died right as that goal happened and I actually thought the way he handled it was perfect. People can complain about the "shout outs" and goofiness getting in the way of calling the game and that's fine and reasonable, but on that particular one there, nothing wrong with that. I was actually hoping he wouldn't go crazy on that goal (because it was a nice goal) just due to being in the middle of talking about a death of one of their own.

Yea they are a given. I should have listed them. Even when CBC isn't doing a Canucks game they are still talking about the Canucks. Like the Oilers the other night. They went on about the Canucks for at least 5 minutes. Umm boys, the Canucks are not playing in the game you are covering!!
