Yeah we're 2-3 but we just beat the Chiefs without our top 3 receivers and with a shitty O-line in the vaunted arrowhead stadium...and our next few games are really bad teams that should be good wins for us.

The second half of our schedule is easy as well, honestly I think this team has a very solid chance to make it. The D continues to improve and Jay has made plays when he has had to.

WHO'S WITH ME!?!

The thing that really concerns me is:

A) The health of this team. We have very little depth and a lot of injuries already.

B) The defense is struggling to get takeaways. They seem to be a bend but don't break defense that is going to rely on the other team to **** up on its own.

C) There will be games that we lose that we should win do to a combination of A and B

With all that said, I think we are going to go 7-9 which I predicted all along.

Our lack of depth is a serious issue that will probably cost us 2-3 wins this year. I see us being good enough when healthy to win 7-8 games, but due to injuries we go 4-12 or 5-11. I just how we don't play ourself out of a top 10 pick this year. There is some franchise player type talent this year.

My biggest fear of going 7-9 or 8-8 and having another middle of the pack first round pick is coming to fruition.

The only way we make the playoffs is if White comes off IR-DTR and is a beast, alongside a healthy AJ.

I went to the store to get some stuff after the game yesterday around 4:00 and they had Hub on 670. One of the guys said that the Bears played like a playoff team yesterday. Hub just laughed and agreed. It made my day since he is usually so negative.

For this team it is for the best. 7-9 and 8-8 would mean we are not complete shit and there are more players worth keeping than originally thought. It would also mean our coaches are good and we can compete for a playoff spot starting next season. That is a better option than picking top 5 and having that hopeless feeling.

Prove to me how I'm an awful poster captain pessimist.

And this may just be a playoff team.

It's nothing to do with being pessimistic. You're reacting way too heavily to what's going on. FFS, they beat the Raiders and Chiefs by a combined 3 points. The ceiling for this season is 8 wins. They'll win at least one against the Lions, the Redskins, the Bucs and the Niners. Even if they squeeze another one or two, they're not getting to 9 and definitely not 10. Two weeks ago we were talking about whether they'd have the first overall pick or not. Now after the most marginal of wins against two mediocre teams we're talking playoffs. Fickle doesn't even begin to describe it. Being stable and rational doesn't = pessimistic.

Alright so we established that you cannot prove that I'm a terrible poster so 50% of your post was garbage.

Everyone who was talking about us getting the first overall pick two weeks ago was reacting way too heavily to what was going on. I mean ffs we lost to the Cardinals, Packers, and the Seahawks. The Packers and Arizona are two team that are locks for the playoffs and if we had Jay we definitely would have been close in that Seattle game.

So after we played the toughest 3 game schedule ever we beat two teams while missing some of our key pieces. Sure, those teams aren't going to make it real far but they aren't bad either, and the fact that we could beat them while missing significant players means something.

Now you've taken a look at our schedule clearly, and it's filled with bad teams. The Lions suck so we should sweep them, stop Peterson and you stop the Vikings so that should also be a sweep but let's give it a split. Then we got SF, Washington, Bucs, Chargers, Rams, Packers, and Broncos. The only game that we have 0 shot of winning is the Packers game. We're beating SF, Wash, Bucs, possibly the Rams, possibly the Chargers, and possibly the Broncos.

So 3 wins against the Lions/Vikings, SF, Wash, Bucs. That Alone gives us 8, add in a decent shot at the Charges, a good shot at the Rams, and a decent shot at the Broncos and that gives us a possibility of going 10-6 and a possibility of going to the playoffs.

Way too much common sense and logic in your post here. Expect the haters and doomsday posters to swoop in for the kill.

LOL. Insane. They aren't beating the Broncos and very unlikely they beat the Rams. They aren't going into SD to win either. And they MIGHT get two between the Lions and Vikings games, but that would only get them to 7 wins.

We went into Arrowhead and won while being unhealthy af, no one thought we'd do that either, and the chargers aren't real good tbh.

The Broncos are so overrated just because they have Manning lol.

And the Rams are no doubt tough but we definitely could do it.

And I think we're getting 3 against the Lions/Vikings, 2 is the absolute worst case.
