Lovely SH goal by Toews to force the OT, and then Sharp barely misses the top righthand corner on an OT PP, before dick burrows ended the season. Still, Vancouver got to enjoy the riots in june. I think if the Hawks had won that night, there would have been a riot. They were at home and they would have become the 4th team to blow a 3-0 series lead.

Carter was out with injury during that portion of the Flyers playoff run. He missed the entire Boston series.
Minnesota don't have The Rat to return from injury to energize the team and get under the skin of the Hawks stars. The play of that Bickell-Bolland-Frolik line was outstanding.

That's old for hockey nowadays, Kane and Toews are on their last legs.
