Not only is the Hawks series not officialy over the Ducks/Flames are at 2 games to 1.
But I will take the Colorado Avalanche in 2
Probably 90% probability that it is going to be Hawks/Ducks as the Hawks always need to face a California team in the playoffs at some point. But I wait for predictions once we know the health and well being of the teams involved. Lots of time for Getzlaf to pull his groin on Corey Perrys big forehead.
All I wish now for the Hawks is to finish the series against the Wild with zero to min. injury. Always a concern.
Yeah....I don't care about Anaheim or Calgary. I just wanted Calgary to show up and thank god they did. This became a new series with 20 seconds left in the third period. 3-0 and anaheim cruising, now its a dog fight. PERFECT. Go to game 7 please, rest up Kane. Get those young Teuvo muscles healed. Old guys cheers all around, and we got the old guys. Rozy, Vermette, Hossa, Keith, Desjardin, Timonen all gonna benefit greatly from a rest advantage. If we have to go to anaheim, that might give us an edge in stealing game 1 or 2.
They also don't have Mike Richards, the willing force of those 0-4 comebacks... or at least the 1st one.
...or Jeff Carter.
Yep the flyers in 2010 and Kings in 2013.
We'll, prolly close this out tomorrow or Saturday,
...but remember when the Hawks were down 0-3 to the Canucks in 2011 and then they took it to game 7 OT. Lovely SH goal by Toews to force the OT, and then Sharp barely misses the top righthand corner on an OT PP, before dick burrows ended the season. Still, Vancouver got to enjoy the riots in june. Thanks you burrows!

Desjardins is 28 years old.
Carter was out with injury during that portion of the Flyers playoff run.
Who ya got?
That's old for hockey nowadays, Kane and Toews are on their last legs. Last summer, Hossa had secret bilateral hip replacement (Arthrodeses) in Slovakia, Rosi had convulsive electroshcok Therapy in the Czech republic and Timonen had a blood transfusion in Finland. Transplants, transfusions, and therapy convulsive are the wave of the future for the elder statesmen of the league. Oh, yeah, rumor is that Crawford actually had an ankle joint replacement for his aged foot, and the drunken concert incident was a ruse, mcguffin, con, swindle to fool the media of the real reason for Crow's absence.
Does he still have a job?
