You say that as if all rap isn't shitty.

Does the in stand for Indiana? So a honky from Indiana makes an ignorant statement about hip-hop. Shocker

That may be the first time I've ever seen such a close spot of the ball overturned. There was no conclusive evidence to overturn the call of a first down on the field. He was nowhere near the sideline marker or a hash mark to use as a measurement for the refs to say definitively that the spot was off by a few inches.
I agree, but Martellus should have at least stretched out a little to make sure there was no question.

The series or play prior had Royal dropping an easy pass from Cutler. If either of those guys would have done their jobs, it's possible that Cutler would have led us to an early FG to win in OT.

But, the refs absolutely cost us this game.

The refs may have cheated us but I see it as they were balancing out nature. We shot ourselves in the foot multiple times. We deserved to lose.

Did anyone notice on Cutler's long, high pass to Allshon on the top sideline, Alshon came back and caught it at the 3 yardline, but the Refs spotted it at the 5 on the Bears goal-series? Alshon Jeffery clear caught the ball at the 3 and fell back a yard and a half because of his momentum. Forward progress should have given the ball a full 2-yards closer. 1st-and-goal from the 3 increases scoring chances because it's easier to run. The Bears settled for a fieldgoal.

Repeatedly terrible officiating. It feels like every exciting play is determined by a zebras judgment today. Early in the game, the Bears had a kickoff return to Midfield was called back due to a questionable hold. Yet they somehow miss a hold on Stafford's deep OT pass.

I love football, love the Bears, but I really hate the NFL. I think league protects offenses and popular QBs in order to boost fantasy football numbers.

We had two chances, not one, to win he game in OT! All we needed either time to win was a FG, not a TD, a FG. Both teams were victims of some questionable calls, but we had 2 chances to win. That's one more than we should expect, we lost, period.

They had multiple chances to put the game away - on offense, defense, and ST - and failed all of them, sometimes in spectacular fashion.

Let's blame the refs, though. Sounds like fun. Da refz hayt da bearsh!

I think you could most almost any NFL game and find a bunch of bad calls. Even with replay the officiating is awful. Flags on punts and kick offs. Pass interference. Holding. No one could agree upon the catch yesterday that was ruled an int then turned in to a Detroit TD. The NFL can't consistently get the officials to make what a catch is or is not. Even with replay they aren't getting it right. And it is not just the Bears. Yes, the Bears were on the end of some bad calls. The roughing the passer on McPhee was just stupid. They might as well rule that when the QB is in the pocket it is "two hand touch". There is a fine line on that, and other rules, but there does need to be a line and apparently no one knows where those lines are.

The NFL has become the No Fun League and I am getting tired of watching.

Officiating was bad both ways today. The Tate "TD" catch, the Fuller being blocked into the ball "fumble" on the punt return, the phantom OPI on Johnson on the Tate TD catch and run etc. The McPhee roughing the passer was "weak" but the correct call. He clearly extended his arm out to the side and took out Stafford's legs well after the ball was gone. Momentary lapse in judgement there and he got caught.

Although we ended up scoring the Def Holding on Jeffery in the end zone should have been PI and placed at goaline. The ball was already in the air. Instead illegal contact and placed at 4 and 1/2. They were pathetic...anyone with game recorded can see the Bennett spot is pretty accurate....look where he lands and look where ref comes in....pathetic

The DPI Jeffery drew on the last drive was hilarious. Jeffery was dragging the defender by his shoulder pads and somehow got the defender called for PI. I thought the reversal of the Bennett spot was the correct call. As soon as it was spotted a first down I was hoping the Bears would run a play quickly before the booth buzzed the officials.

this, complain all you want about bad calls the refs made, but if the Bears take advantage of the chances given to them they win the game. Blame the refs all you want, but in the end the Bears had their opportunities to end the game and it didn't happen. Bad calls happen in every game and it sucks no matter the circumstance, but it's up to the team to win the game.

I'm more pissed that Fuller lost sight of the receiver who caught the first TD.

EDIT: or second TD, can't remember which one it is now.

Whoever is teaching the defensive secondary needs to go. They almost never turn their heads to find the ball. Fuller is especially bad,
