1. Grape jelly

3. Fritos

3. Fritos
Grape jelly does make some good ass meatballs though.
Lol. It's one of my go to's tooGrape jelly chili sauce meatballs is my friends wife's go to to bring to parties/cookouts. It was explained to me that I have to not touch them until we know everybody has had a shot at them before I move on them like a bitch.
As for chili, no fucking beans, anything else is fine.
Are the fritos like a topping? If so, I'm not going to count that as an key ingredient. And if you are counting toppings/sides as a 'key' ingredient than everyone here knows the answer would be a cinnamon roll. Not fucking shit corn chips1. Grape jelly
2. Tabasco
3. Fritos
With Chili...Corn chips > cinnamon rollsAre the fritos like a topping? If so, I'm not going to count that as an key ingredient. And if you are counting toppings/sides as a 'key' ingredient than everyone here knows the answer would be a cinnamon roll. Not fucking shit corn chips
You put the Fritos as your base and dump the chili on top.Are the fritos like a topping? If so, I'm not going to count that as an key ingredient. And if you are counting toppings/sides as a 'key' ingredient than everyone here knows the answer would be a cinnamon roll. Not fucking shit corn chips
I put chili on a bed of mashed potatoes, maybe i should put the fritos on the mashed potatoes then top it with the chili, hmmYou put the Fritos as your base and dump the chili on top.
So it's a part of the serving recommendation and not a chili ingredient? You put the Fritos as your base and dump the chili on top.
Beans are maybe a topping MAYBE for us. I wouldn't put them in my chili. I want the same chili to top hotdogs or for chilitos or even for putting under easy over eggs 4 brekkie. Beans would ruin that for me and my desired texture profile.I use crushed up unsalted tortilla chips at the bottom of the bowl, Fritos have too much salt. Cheese, sour cream, and diced onions on top.
But really, no fucking beans.

My key three ingredients for my church chili cook off award winning recipe are:
Dried:
Guajillo
Arbol
Ancho
Reconstituted in beer and pureed in the liquid, instead of dumping a bunch of stale ass chili powder on the beef.
Three ingredients beyond that which might be unconventional I guess are:
Allspice
Clove
Bakers chocolate
All in very minute measures.
fifyYou boil dried chilies in beer to reconstitute them?
Also, the hatch chile thing gets throne around a lot, but if you can find real ones where you are, they are actually a thing. Like a whole other level.
