Pippen helped jordan develop his defensive game a lot. He is the goat not only because he was the best offensive player but because he was one of the best defenders too. And of course he didn't win a championship without Pippen.

Pippen was Jordans brother in battle, partner, Jordans pupil and teacher, very well at every catagory in basketball(well except for freethrows), playmaker, allstar, champion, hall of famer, etc etc etc etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the list goes on and on...............

Just a thought, has anyone ever considered that Lebron may have also learned a lot from Pippen?
After all, a lot of his offensive moves to the basket look almost identical to Pippens style.....especially the lay up where he pulls his arm all the way back and swings it around..........not sayong that Pippen personally trained him or anything, but that purhaps Lebron may have looked up to Pippen growing up.......Hue will never admit this, but there are so many similarities between Pippen and Lebrons game....starting with DEFENSE......considering that Hue is a huge fan of Lebrons, I would figure that Hue would also be a huge fan of Pippen instead of his biggest hater......it doesn't make sense....Pippen was like the prototype of Lebron, and Lebron is the new bigger stronger upgraded version created in a lab at Area51.......Yes, that's a compliment to Lebron.......Only thing is, Dr.Frankenstein forgot to recreate Pips basketball high IQ brain and put it in Lebrons Head.....As soon as he adds that upgrade, then and only then will it be possible for Lebron to become the greatest player ever......and it is possible.....People bash Pippen all the time for his comments about Lebron-Jordan, but in a way, Pip wasn't that far off...
Plus they play the same position.....I've always stated that Lebron is like Pippen of steroids......If Pip was the same size as Lebron, I personally have no doubt that Pippen would be better than him..EVEN OFFENSIVELY............

Its the other way around. Jordan was a better on ball defender than Pippen throughout his career. Pippen's job was to make Jordan's job easier. Jordan would win DPOY in Pippen's rookie season. Pippen sought out Jordan and Jordan helped him with his game.

He was instrumental in making Pippen a great player, as much as anybody.

This is another one of those times when youre taking something out of context. The Bulls dint trade Tyrus Thomas because they felt he wasnt gonna amount to anything, they traded him because they didnt want to pay him. I saw Thomas as being another andra kirlenko. Excellent defender, long, great shot blocker, capaable of jumping out of the gym. Hes the one guy that I felt could matchup on lebron james.

And im positive if you took a poll on who the Bulls fans would rather have as their owner, Dolan would win in a landslide over Reinsdorf.

MAYBE, JUST MAYBE the Bulls traded Thomas because they didn't think he'd amount to anything, and is of a lesser caliber than players like Amare, Bosh, and Boozer. Being cheap on Thomas isn't mutually exclusive of Thomas being bad at basketball.

He didnt just say Jordan. He said he would pick him over everyone on the dream team. That includes Bird and Magic

Considering Malone was given Stockton, its no wonder he would have picked Pippen over Magic. Not only that, we know Magic has HIV/AIDS and nothing against Magic, I like him a lot, but I wouldn't trust him to make it through an 82 game season healthy.

Malone would have carried the scoring load, and a broken down Bird wasn't going to be worth much on the offensive side of the floor. So even in Malone's team, Pippen would be 2nd/3rd option.

Again, not sure what's so bad about being the perfect complementary player.

The Bulls were trying to trade Thomas for a couple of years...Paxson was upset with Del Negro for badmouthing Thomas around the league while they were trying to trade him. It was obvious he wouldn't live up to his potential so they let him go. He can't get 30mpg playing in Charlotte. They got a pick that will be unprotected in 2016 I believe. But they wanted to get rid of Tyrus for a few years. Plus they got Taj Gibson, who is a better player, to take his minutes.

People bring up money as if dude was going to get a max contract. If someone else overpaid and he walked for nothing, the whiners would whine about that too.

Malone was an alpha dog...notice Malone said "besides Stockton..." he would take Pippen. Pippen can't run pick and roll as well as Stockton did. However, Pippen played great defense and had no problem taking the secondary role...THAT is most likely why Malone picked Pippen.

The people at 2K finally answered all the emails and letters I sent them.
Pippen is back on 2K
And its a good thing for them, because I was in the process of organizing a large boycott and demonstration.
Its good to know they took me seriously.
