The US Criminal Justice System

I did my homework and vividly remember the news piece about a year before Speck died. It was all over the news when the story broke - about him doing drugs and having sex in prison. Sorry but it's the truth.

CNN is not the truth. And you should not be one suggesting anything about the truth as anytime you are in an argument and someone brings truth or fact up you pull your tail up and run away. Fact.

One of the biggest travesty's in our Judicial System is the Severity of Sentence for certain crimes.

Example ---

Selling an ounce of Pot within 500ft of school property Minimum TEN YEARS in Federal Prison.

Molesting one of those kids anywhere 3-5, with early parole for good behavior.

There is a slight problem there.

I stand by every word I've ever said here and despite your repeated claims that I backtrack it's untrue. Go provide examples next time. The Speck story is true - and it wasn't on CNN. Another 'fact' you have wrong.

My repeated claims? Half the board has called you out. Time and time again. You don't stand by anything. In fact I picture you sitting the **** down on most occasions in real life. Why you continue to post here is amazing quite a few of us.

I don't have anything wrong either. I was speaking in general and didn't even read the bullshit you spewed other than the "fact" you never follow through with.

You probably know you backtrack. Sometimes I think you are seriously a troll. You were in your prime in the Organized Religion Thread--really hit your stride.

There's one. We should start a Poll/Pole. I'd take a wild guess half would say vote his ass off the island and the others find so much fucking humor in the bullshit they say keep him on the island for comic relief alone.

sorry for the

But fact and Fuffle do NOT belong in the same fucking sentence. Ever.

Guilty of nothing??? For planning a robbery? And then innocent lives were killed during that robbery that she planned? And that's okay to you? Um....no.

One of the problems with our justice system is people have sympathy for the perpetrator and not the victims. It's sad but true.

If I told you HOW to rob a bank but didn't actually go with you and never expected anything in return for telling...how the **** am I guilty of robbing that bank. YOU did it, not me. I just told you how to do it.

Its called personal responsibility. The people that committed the crime should be punished, not the person who told them how to go about it. Mind you this is nothing like hiring someone to kill a person for you. In that scenario you are benefitting from the crime.

So long as this chick got nothing out of the crime, she shouldn't be punished one iota. If everyone that TALKED about doing something bad was put in jail...well ****, we would all be in there.

Sorry but I saw the same piece and regardless of what you think that doesn't make Stateville a "cupcake" prison.

Every single prison has problems with drugs, violence and sex. The only "cupcake" prisons are the ones people like Martha Stewart are sent off to.

If you did your homework, you'd know that.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Culpability comes into play, though. I.E. I think the sentance for hiring a hitman should be the same as attempted murder, and if the hit is successful, murder.

I'm ignorant on this burgalry case, but as far as I'm concerned if this chick just planned a burgalry and someone acted on her plans--no harm no foul. If she was part of the consipracy and would have, or did profit from the attempted, or successful burglary, then yes, she should be prosecuted for robbery or attempted robbery as appropriate.

If the aforementioned is true, then if her plans called for murder, then yes, she's culpable of attempted or actul murder. But if her plans didn't, then at most involuntary manslaughter. Further, if she did not stand to profit, then she has no culpability.

It's far from a Cupcake prison and most definitely has a Maximum Secure/lock down area.

And I'm pretty sure someone can be ass raped just as easy at some of the minimum security prisons verses Statesville which is NOT minimum security.

My personal favorite was his stand on the Josh Mora issue.

Where Martha Stewart was sent is definitely a cupcake prison. It is a federal minimum secuity prison camp, not a state prison or even a maximum security facility. Which is why it has earned the name "Camp Cupake."

I believe I pointed out to Fluff that Stateville was maximum security. Who said Stateville was minimum security?

Got me he did his research. I'm sure he looked it up and saw it was not a very nice place to be incarcerated. Then again consider the source.

Then from now on if you want to continue your drivel you must provide links to your sources for all of your facts. Something you still have not done with this one. You are stating the story as you remember it as fact. I'm tired of you spouting shit like this getting called on it and then running away. If you don't start posting proof to back up your "facts" i'm going to just start deleting your posts.

So can we extrapolate this to the guy who wrote the book about how to molest people?

Yeah. That proves cupcake prison alright.

You claim

"2) Richard Speck living many years in a camp cupcake style prison with drugs and sex at his wanting call."

You obviously have no idea what prison, much less Statesville is like. Yes. He was and is the only dude in prison that has drugs. He is the only inmate that has sex while incarcerated. That never happens, except for in this anomalous situation.

Cupcake prison my ass. We saw what, a few minutes of Speck's life in prison? Great way to formulate an opinion on something, with extremely limited information.

The pattern holds true. That's how you life your life, Blinders McGee.

Dope.

So you think it's perfectly fine for a guy who killed many women to do drugs, have sex when he wants, and 'have fun' as he puts it? Sorry but that doesn't sound like he's suffering to me at a tough prison.
