So you think it's perfectly fine for a guy who killed many women to do drugs, have sex when he wants, and 'have fun' as he puts it? Sorry but that doesn't sound like he's suffering to me at a tough prison.

I bet the one thing the article left out was his asshole didn't whistle the way it used to.

So you honestly think prisoners don't drink, do drugs or have sex in prisons?

And if they do then that means the prison is therefore a "cupcake" prison?

Really?

Are you serious?

LOL! And you have so much experience in Prisons? It's a MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISION! Do you know if he's been ass raped? I'm pretty sure no article is going to tell you that.

ASSumption is the root of all evil. Again you posted a bullshit source.

I think the only thing that article proves is just how disturbed an individual Speck was.

And he was bad at counting.

So can we extrapolate this to the guy who wrote the book about how to molest people?

Should he be investigated by FBI and local authorities to see if he fits the evidence for a child molestation or abduction? Sure. But what crime did he commit by writing a book?

Here's a good example of someone being personally but indirectly involved in a crime and needing to be brought to justice: Usama Bin Laden. He planned AND provided funding for the 9/11 hijackers BUT he was not present on any of the planes. This means he is guilty of that crime.

But a woman planning a crime, not gaining anything from it, and not being present for it is not guilty of anything but poor judgement.

You know nothing about people who have been incarcerated do you? He says those things because they are his only real link to a free life. He is far from free. He is bound to the confines of the prison. So he does drugs in there and has sex. Find me a single jail in the WORLD that this doesn't happen. Shoot, half the prisons in the states have at one time or another caught a STAFF member smuggling in drugs or setting up a situation where inmates can have sex (with other inmates, guards, staff, etc).

Go take a tour of Cook County jail and ask those inmates how many times they have done drugs or had sex behind bars. I bet more than half would acknowledge it. PS 26th and California is no cupcake prison/jail.

Speck's life at Statesville was far from a stately pleasure dome, but I do agree that he appeared to have too many liberties accorded him.

I thought the original expose was on channel 2 in Chicago, but it may have been channel 7.

Bill Kurtis broke the story on channel 2 back in the mid-90s. I remember Speck on the video smoking weed.

Accessory - A person who assists a criminal but is not present.

Also Kerfulffle, ive been reading about the Bill Kurtis thing. You failed to mention the sex Speck was having was with other inmates, more specifically, Speck was giving them blowjobs. That puts a completely different picture on it to me.

I mean fluff maybe a strait man giving thugs blow jobs is right up your alley for a good time and thats why you're so mad, not judging you, but it sure isnt my idea of a good time.

There was also an A&E Investigative report that offers another side to that interview.

For the love of christ fluff, he was wearing a bra and panties giving other inmates blowjobs. Regardless of the drugs smuggled in, the A&E reports suggests, the inmates were forcing speck to do this and he did so to survive in prison.

Yes, but how did his new tits look. What a horrible personification or the reality. Please note, I've warned you, so in the future you better have better links, and up front.

What are "better links"?

He provided a link, as requested.

Whether board members like the source or not is irrelevant.

People here need to get over this "Fluff is trolling" thing.

It's getting silly.

So after reading that link you immediately thought

"Other injustices of the court system:

2) Richard Speck living many years in a camp cupcake style prison with drugs and sex at his wanting call."

What a joke. It was nothing more than a guy with nothing to lose showing off for the camera.

Did you happen to read this part?

"Speck avoided the death penalty when the Supreme Court changed its ruling on capital punishment. He was re-sentenced to 50-100 years in prison. He never spent even 20 years in prison. Instead, Speck died on December 5, 1991 from a massive heart attack. On autopsy, they found he had an enlarged heart and occluded arteries. He had blown up to 220 lbs.; his doughy face remained covered with pockmarks; his body was bloated like a dead fish. No one claimed his body, no family, and no friends. Speck was cremated, his ashes thrown in an unknown location."

Sounds like a great party, he was well loved.

Guilty of nothing??? For planning a robbery? And then innocent lives were killed during that robbery that she planned? And that's okay to you? Um....no.

One of the problems with our justice system is people have sympathy for the perpetrator and not the victims. It's sad but true.

She is guilty of conspiracy to commit or accessory prior to the fact, whatever the proper terminology is.

Also, you seem to forget, innocent until proven guilty, and punishment should mete the crime...165 years for conspiring in a robbery she helped plan but did not participate in, does not fit.
