He's been a disappointment.

I got banned for congratulating CJ Stroud on a playoff win.
That's his m.o. If you disagree with him, or at least talk about something he doesn't want to discuss he railroads you. Eventually, he just bans you.

As a long time member/financial supporter of this place, it's upsetting.

There was a run on WRs - and I called it. Weak GMs like Poles fall for it. Just like how he signed Kmet for a multi-year contract

...then drafts a TE first.

There was “a run”? lol… ok… every mock drafter alive predicted that “run” then. Brugler had him 6th and Jeremiah had him 3rd on their big boards. I’m not sure if you’re just intentionally being dense. He was the consensus at 6th overall pick in mocks.

You also have a pretty poor concept of team building. You don’t decline to extend your starting TE cause you may hire a new HC in the future and that coach may prefer to add another guy at a position of one of your better players.

Lastly, Kmet’s contract has only about 3 million in dead cap next year. That relatively meaningless, and increasingly so with a rising cap. They can easily trade or cut him if they choose to do so. The contract is not remotely difficult to manage.

Well, you have one constant opinion. You’re bound to be right sometimes.

He wasn’t even close to being a reach. It’s just a ridiculous premise.
They told me the same thing about "Fumblina Fields,"

You're wrong, until you're right, and then you're still wrong - because of "draft grades." ✝️

Always excuse the GM and contract situation...you won't be so loud next year.

It’s not an excuse. I’m saying what you’re claiming is stupid. Rome was never going to fall in the draft. To claim it was a “huge reach” is ridiculous. You can say you don’t think he was worth where he’d be drafted if you’d like, but his draft position was locked in the top 10. A huge reach is when a team goes off the rails and selects a player no one would otherwise expect to go so high. This is a pretty simple concept.

If your argument was to pick a OT or simply that you don’t like Rome, that’s fine. You can debate those things. Time will answer those, but that’s not what I’m challenging. What you said is not debatable.

Stop being a baby about your stupid name change. It’s an internet forum. Get over it.

I think it was a HUGE reach by Ryan Poles, who was convinced that Canadian football player, Chase Claypool - was worth pick 32.

Did you watch rome odunze play at all in college?

There was a good chance before the draft he went before the bears.

You are just showing how stupid you are. His production as a rookie on a team and scheme that was terrible was actually very good.

I remember watching Rome Odunze in college and hoping we could get him. He's extremely talented and in this years draft he would be easily a top 5 pick.
