Let's compare some numbers...
Rome: Rec: 54 Tgts: 101 Yds: 734 Avg: 13.6 TD's: 3 Lng: 47
Harrison Jr: Rec: 62 Tgts: 116 Yds: 885 Avg: 14.3 TD's: 8 Lng: 60
Nabers: Rec: 109 Tgts: 170 Yds: 1204 Avg: 11.0 TD's: 7 Lng: 59
Rome is right in the mix with the two receivers drafted ahead of him at 4 and 6. And Rome's numbers were produced with Flus as the HC, a team that fired their OC half way through the season and a team that had both DJ Moore and Keenan Allen. Given those considerations, I think Rome's rookie year was very solid. I expect him to make a huge leap in year 2.

It's not at all shocking that the new HC who loves to run 12 personnel would draft a second TE with a skill set very different from Kmet's.There was a run on WRs - and I called it. Weak GMs like Poles fall for it. Just like how he signed Kmet for a multi-year contract
...then drafts a TE first.
