No news doesn't mean no news. Remember when the other trades popped up out of nowhere. Hahn is 1000x more stealthy than KW.

Yeah, I mean for example, who saw the Addy/Davidson trade coming?

I wanna see the catcher situation fixed too but I trust Hahn.

Dan Hayes tweeted an article that Abreu will wear batting gloves.

He didn't wear em in Cuba.

Abreu said on Tuesday his bare hands should soon be covered.

“In Cuba for reasons we all know you never wear batting gloves,” Abreu said through a translator. “But here I’ve been introduced to batting gloves and you’ll see me wearing (them) pretty soon.”

Here's a pic of him in Glendale, Arizona:

I'll bite. What's the reason not to wear batting gloves in Cuba?

Doesn't sound like well sign a veteran like Garza. Though I'd like to have him.

They're only for Tanaka because of the aforementioned pluses in the Cubs' thread. Young, lots of potential.

Sox aren't going to give Tanaka money to Jimenez, or Garza. It doesn't fit the rebuild/retool.
