How much instant impact are you expecting from WR3 when you already have two proven WRs that will get the majority of targets?

Drafting a WR in round 1 seems like more the long term play to me.

How often are 3 WR's on the field? lol? 50-60?

About that often

It is a nice place in Montana.

Andrew Billings is on a short contract, has bounced around the league, and has 4.5 career sacks. I enjoy that last year he was a key player in the DL rotation, but he is not someone that discourages you from drafting another DT.

He's a starter tho.

He's fantastic against the run and a big reason the bears were one of the best in the league.

If you draft murphy then gervon hits the bench, which means the guy who outplayed the consensus #1 defensive player in last years draft in the 2nd half of the season is on the bench.

Just makes no sense to me. Pickens also a high 3rd, and Walker rotates in on passing downs.

If we were discussing a 3rd or 4th round DT I'd get it, but this seems like putting too many cooks in the kitchen for me, but im very high on dexter.

Why does it seem like that?

Recent talk from the media, recent odds movement in vegas sportsbooks.

Murphy is by far the 2nd highest odds for #9 now when a week ago he was like 8/1

heard that when you drafted Mitch
heard that when you drafted "The GAWD" Bustin Justin...........
rinse, repeat.

Nice bump material in 4 years when you trade CW for a 6th round pick.

In 4 years you won't be a fake Lions fan

Long term as in next year - Keenan Allen is a free agent in one year. I think a successful rookie year in this case would be like JSN's impact last year for Seattle. I would look forward to around 60 catches and 600 yards for a rookie season with a plan to help him take off in 2025.

He’ll absolutely be starting. Nobody said Billings prevents them from drafting a DT.

They did choose to extend him.

Sure, 500-600. Prob much more of an impact than a rookie DT would make, and he'd actually have an impact on our new rookie QB

Just curious. Not turning this into a WR vs DT thing. Either one makes them better

Billings is legit basically the main reason the run D went from ass to top in the league.

2nd Edge is the main reason why this team gets no pass rush.

I wont be upset if they take any of the edge's, I will be if they take another damn DT

The thing I do like about Murphy is he plays nose too. You can have him and Dexter playing together on 3rd down

Unfortunately, we heard what Poles said yesterday which might be a tip that he’s going DT.

I’d be happy with Williams/Rome or Malik at 9.

I’d be content if they took Alt or an Edge. Don’t want a trade up. If they are going edge, I think they could trade down a few spots and still get a good one

Who cares, you still took a change of pace back in the first round and a linebacker who cant pass cover(in 2024) in the first round.

Both things that bad teams do
LMAO, Campbell had 95 tackles and will only improve. Ryan Poles is miles behind Brad Homes when it comes to draft savy.
