Thoughts on adults wearing jerseys?

I wear jersey's because I am a fan. Same reason I have a shirt with a 68' Shelby on it. I also alternate between wearing a beard and not. Because I want to or don't. And don't give a shit if anyone approves or not. And I don't give a shit about all the guys at work wearing Packer gear.

And honestly the people who are so concerned about what other people are wearing is a bigger problem to worry about. Those people "often" feel like their beliefs should be inflicted upon others. Narcissists.

1. No name on it

2. Your name on it.

3. Your girlfriend or mom's name on it.

If no human, animal or the environment is injured as a result, why care what someone wears, pierces, tattoos or screws. Now don't get me wrong, I will talk about you stupid looking fucks to others, but I will not infringe upon your freedom or molest you in anyway. I imagine people talk about me often enough and more power to them, as long as they don't bother me with their stupidity why should I care. As a kid I wore them all the time. That's pretty much all I ever asked for for Christmas. But I stopped wearing them around the time I went to college. I still kept a few of the unique ones to pass down to my son when he is a little older but I haven't found the need to wear a jersey in years.

On a side not there was a group of guys in college that would always tailgate at the IU football games wearing Vikings Jim Klinesaucer jerseys. It was at least 8 dudes all in the same jersey so I asked them once why they always wear them. Apparently one of them had gotten so drunk one day that he yelled he was jimmy klinesauced and from that point on they started the tradition of always wearing the jerseys when they partied together. I always thought that was a funny story/reason to wear a jersey.

This reminds me of a time I saw Donovan Mcnabb on First Take at some Philly bar and he got into a friendly argument with some guest host guy who was antagonistically wearing a Tony Romo jersey in Philadelphia. At one point Donovan Mcnabb said "what kind of grown men wears a jersey?". I thought it was funny because he was in a bar full of grown men doing just that. Many of which, were his fans.
