I used to hang out with a guy that hated tomatoes, but would slather ketchup on hot dog, or dump marina sauce on his pasta.

Kind of close as both may just be a pallet thing.

Mine is just with beef and cheese. I love a good ham & cheese sandwich. Sub the ham for roast beef and it's gross again.

I even only eat pork or chicken tacos.

So no to Philly cheese steak, and beef dip?

Have you tried blue cheese with beef? Goat cheese might be more kosher on beef for your palate*.

I went to the infamous Kuma's Corner where there is no burger on the menu cheeseless and they blast 80s Metal non-stop so I went with one that had blue cheese to avoid a lot of bad noise as they were fully stocked that department.

Probably the most palatable I have tried, but given the option skip it...I would.
I wish I was a weirdo.

It ain't easy being non-cheesy.

worcester sauce in the patty pre cooking
fried egg
avocado
tiny onions

Tiny onions has me confused. Do you mean a small amount, finely chopped, or pearl onions?

Can I use this thread to make a shocking confession about myself?

I don't like cheese on my burgers at all.

Do you know how difficult that is when going to a standard burger joint? Cheeseburgers are such a default thing for most places that I cannot just order a "hamburger" without specifically stating I don't want cheese on it because I did not ****ing say "cheeseburger". Or if every burger on the menu has cheese...I am now considered some sort of "special order".

I mean are you ****ing kidding me?!?!?

I’m lactose intolerant so no cheese for me either, **** it. Also **** mushrooms on a burger, whatsamatter with you heathens?

My formula: lettuce wrap, tomato, onion, avocado, jalapeños, pickles on the side. Don’t need to ever get gluttonous and throw in fat nor butter into the equation, all in moderation you fat-assed midwesterners!

Edit: why the lettuce wrap? Because allocating the carbs and calories to alcohol > breadie things.

Is Kuma's a Japanese burger place? Restaurants with that name here are Japanese, and one is amazing, with incredible fresh uni.

I'm on the west coast and that burger formula is the flakiest shit I have ever heard when it comes to burgers. If I didn't know already, I'd guess you were in San Fran. It's certainly not a sandwich.

It is just some dive bar that started making burgers with quality beef and pretzel rolls and everyone acted like they invented it. Now they have 2 hour wait times for a burger that s good, but not THAT good.

And the place is a dump. Way overrated.

Burger Bar on Clybourn is infinitely better than Kuma's.

Have any of you guys tried vegan burgers? some of them are pretty good. For some, you can't tell it's not meat

That's the whole point though.
When I cook a steak or a hamburger, I know I am about to enjoy a piece of meat.

My confession is I like McDonald’s cheeseburgers but I have to have them with no ketchup.
