I'm on the west coast and that burger formula is the flakiest shit I have ever heard when it comes to burgers. If I didn't know already, I'd guess you were in San Fran. It's certainly not a sandwich.

If you've got quality meat, you don't want that other shite on there cluttering up the goodness.

The Impossible Burger is dope.

Never had one, but I hear the new one, version 2.0 is even better than the original 1.0.

Did not know there was a V.2, I'ma looking forward to next year when they begin to distribute it at retail. My wife and one of my kids, along with other family members are vegan or vegetarian so I need those wondrous patties in order to provide for all.

Beyond Burger already retail. The smell before heating is not inspiring. Taste is okay, texture not bad,but as a non-vegetrarian, I'd rather reduce my carbon footprint by reducing burger/red meat intake than to switch to a product like this.

Are you an investor by any chance?

Sadly, no, I'm not an investor though I would love to be - none of my connections are in that space.

Where can you purchase it at retail? I thought it was only currently distributed through wholesalers.

And FYI, last one I had was at Gott's Roadside in Napa and it smelled great.

Beyond Burger is available at Safeway here. Not Impossible Burger though. I'm talking about the smell of retail, not cooked yet Beyond Burger. It's not pleasant.

I used to hang out with a guy that hated tomatoes, but would slather ketchup on hot dog, or dump marina sauce on his pasta.

My wife will eat fresh homegrown tomatoes in season. Otherwise, no way. She likes ketchup, salsa, tomato based pasta sauces, just not fresh tomatoes. Texture issue. Don’t ask me why, 27 years into this I quit trying to figure it out.

Tomato can be mealy, especially if refrigerated. And they need salt to bring out the true flavour.

Liking ketchup, and tomato sauces, but not liking tomatoes themselves is nowhere near as weird as liking cheese, liking beef, but not liking beef with cheese.

You know what, a fresh tomato from the garden is infinitely better than something at Jewel.

Farmers market or home grown for this guy.

I can't just eat a tomato. It has to be on a sandwich or in a salad or something.

I like to slice up tomatoes and put some fresh cracked pepper on there. Great snack.
