Keeping it together on the course is one of the hardest things to do. Think about your favorite course and ask if you have pared every hole. The answer is probably yes. Now have you birdied every hole? If you played their enough the answer is probably yes. So why cant you shoot par? Keeping it together for 4 hours is crazy hard and often the difference in success and failure is a quarter of an inch on the face of a club or 2 yards on an errant drive. There is no reasonable and consistent answer why people lose it on a course

i get distracted by butterflies... i retired as a hack until my son is about 5-6... basically until he can go with me and not be a dip.. we got jr golf at my former club.. so maybe when he turns 4 ill take him down to the range and see if he likes it.. its a cool late sat program.. 7-10 bucks for a bucket and 45min-hour with the club pro... its a group session with a bunch of kids.. but still...

It took me a little more than 5 minutes to find Google search, find three articles on the matter, scan for quotes, copy/paste, then click 'post quick reply.' And we should be clear, I'm not calling your buddy a liar. I am calling you a liar. Webb Simpson was a last second edition to the post I quoted. I merely pointed out, that the born again teetotaler Bubba Watson obviously did not do shots with your buddy, nor do I have any reason to believe that he used the language with your buddy that you claim he did. Is it possibly your buddy (who in that same post you said didn't know much about golf) had the wrong guy? Yes. Is it possible that happened with another golfer - maybe Webb Simpson? Yes. Do I believe for a second it was Bubba Watson with all the evidence to the contrary? Not a fucking chance in the world.
