Can it though? Are we forgetting the three turnovers, two by fuller that gave the ball to the O in the red-zone?

Speaking of redzone...........

I don't understand why there is a need to blame the O or the D, they both share in this loss.
Both of those ints came from a solo performance effort... There was a reason why we weren't hearing Kyle's name and he showed them fuller island is bigger than they thought.

Last I checked, Fuller was on the defense. When you start eliminating players from the group your criticizing, you have jumped the shark

Well, sometimes they'll have games like that. The offense could've bailed them out, Mitch was balling again, but Nagy went straight pussy. Say what you want about the defense, the refs, whatever, Nagy cost them that game.

I didn't realize Nagy was out there missing field goals wide right. I also didn't see Nagy out there missing open field tackles. Was that Albert Wilson out there or was that Devin Hester?

Nagy settled for OT and settled for a 50+ yard FG. The loss is clearly on Nagy for lacking a spine. You guys have lost your mind if you think the defense isn't going to have bad games. The Bears could've converted the third and 4 to get Parkey closer, but Nagy bitched out.

Running on 3rd Down was a stupid play call in a big moment.

He needs to wear that

The opposing offense got passes out in under 4 seconds. The entire idea is to not let the pass rushers get home. But where the plays need to be made are in coverage on the secondary.

The INT is all part of an NFL game, fumbles too, but what isn't acceptable is not once but multiple times the secondary giving too much ground and allowing dolphin playmakers to look like Jerry rice out there all because you aren't willing to toughen up and make a textbook tackle.

This secondary came into this game thinking their only job was to break up passes because they have been spoiled by a great pass rush a season. If any of them break down and form tackle in the flats this game isnt even close. Bad angles, bad tackle attempts and lack of effort in the action of tackling is a sure way to lose games, your job, and your career in the NFL.

Chris Conte level tackling from the secondary today

So you admit the defense had a bad game, yet continue to blame Nagy. Again, I agree it was a TERRIBLE call by Nagy to not go for a first down on 3rd and 4.

If the defense can stop a single a fucking WR screen this game never goes to OT. 274 YAC. Pathetic.

Sure. But you can’t pin the loss on that single play. Parkey missing the FG or Howard fumbling on the 1 yard line had just as much of an effect. You can’t put the outcome of the game on his 1 single bad play call, particularly considering his play calling was pretty damn good and had the team up by a TD with minutes left in the game. That is until the defense allowed a 70 yard WR screen for a TD. Again. Yikes.

Dude, they had a fucking bye week and looked unprepared on defense. That's on coaching. He made stupid decisions in big moments that ended up costing the team the game. I'm not excusing the defense for their piss poor play, but the Bears STILL should've won.

So this is the vaunted Vic fangio’s fault?

This is the truth

If you give up that many YAC you are not a sure tackling defense. Deon Bush has recieved high praise from fangio as a guy who is doing all he can to get on the field. He should get some extra reps with the ones as he has shown hes not afraid to come down hill and make a tackle. With the defense applying pressure and forcing teams to get the ball out quick we need corners that can disengage against receivers blocks and tackle and safeties who recognize the play early, cheat their eyes onto a particular target and look to close in and destroy plays before the wr can get something started...

Fucking sorry ass safety play

Amos was invisible today. I thought Eddie Jackson was okay and I saw him make a few critical tackles. Where the fuck was Amos????

Jackson was horrendous today. Watch his angles and effort on a couple of the long pass plays. Specifically the Wilson screen pass.

Roquan and Trevathan were abysmal all day.

Defense was trash and obviously the main reason they lost. Howard doesn’t fumble and Cohen didn’t get jobbed by the refs the offense puts up 42 points. Have to be encouraged with the O and Mitch as a whole. Defense needs to rebound next week. They were absolutely atrocious.
