I wish Floyd could get any kind of pressure. He just gets too far wide and then gets pushed to the side. Every play. Dude needs to learn an inside swim move, spin, or power through the guy into the QB, or at least get into the throw path and use his height to block those quick passes we get burned with. Sherrick McManis has more sacks than he does.

WTF is up with their conditioning? They loaf so much. I know it's humid in S. Florida, but is it that big of a game-changer? BN gave up a touchdown loafing.

I'm disgusted by the lack of effort, especially coming off a bye. Pathetic.

Its true this D looks gassed every game

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Purdue Boilermakers
So this is the vaunted Vic fangio’s fault?
Coaching in general. Includes nagy as the head coach, and vic as the dc. The defense looked very sloppy coming out of a bye. That's unforgivable.

Amos was invisible today. I thought Eddie Jackson was okay and I saw him make a few critical tackles. Where the fuck was Amos????

Jackson was a noncommittal on both screen plays... rather than go for a tackle he kept trying to cut off the runners angles so the rest if his team would catch up and make a play. I'm going to go ahead and call these correctable mistakes on the inexperience in the pros. Jackson was the last man to beat and got beat 2x because he tried to angle down the field. Problem is that at the NFL level guys create new lanes with one move, t h.g e are just that athletic. He has got to commit to a tackle shut down an angle and force the opponent to stay on his feet, and at least mn ake him get lateral or slow him down. Instead we saw him get cut back on and make zero contact.

He corrected this late in the game after 2 TDs were given up.

Tackling was horrible today. I'm surprised no one is commenting on that. There were multiple missed open field tackles. I thought we were one of the good teams that wrap up the ball carriers. Not today! They looked like a bunch of pussies out there. Weak and unprepared. I hope they are practicing tackling dummies all next week into the darkness but the Weak CBA Players Contract wouldn't allow that. Get Better Bears!

I just saw a stat saying this is only the third time the Bears gave up over 540 yards combined in the last 35 years.

A couple sites are saying that there were 19 missed tackles not including the guys who took brutal angles and missed [Jackson looking at you].

19 Bears touched the ball carrier without bringing him down.

D was the biggest disappointment. Sure Nagy made some bone head decisions, like playing for OT and a 53y FG, but overall he coached a decent game considering how the O got rolling in the 2nd half.

But the D letting brock and the Miami o score point for point was BS. Zero pass rush and no one wanted to tackle.

I was there & recall at least 4-5 attempted tackles where the MIA ball carrier jumped OVER the Bear. A few gained only an extra couple yards, while another 1-2 went further yet IIRC. I remember because I love good fooball plays and it's cool to see that done well...just NOT against my team!!

This and the GB game show this D to be close and correctable, but not locked in yet.

I also counted 4-5 plays where pressure took too long and Brock tossed to a wide open drag/cross route (RB release?) Each time good for at least an easy 10 yard first down, some longer yet after missed tackles.

Like GB, the D seemed to overpursue a lot & arm tackle a lot...the later a sign of them being gassed later. Also poor downfield pursuit on the long TDs given up.

OFFENSE: put up big numbers again, but let minimum 6, max 14 pts on the field in the first half. Mitch missed 5-6 open throws early, but recovered nicely later on.

ST: Can't pin this on Parkey, but he had his shot too.

Total team loss, coaching calls included.

Just like GB, any one of about 8-10 plays different could've won this game.

That OT run fumble by MIA at the end was just nuts & was caused by D. Call that a push w/ Howard's redzone fumble I guess. Crazy ass game guys. Shit happens. Lots of this should be correctable.
