The only time you can is with prospects which we have. I don't think it would set us back much if Dowell, Bickell or Beach stepped in next year. Same goes for Lalonde replacing Hossa. The thing is right now, prospects are in a position to flourish, the only thing that they'll be counted on is that they give 100% every game.
Beach/Bickell/Lalonde will all be in the NHL next year... RK and I have had this conversation MANY times.

I hope so. Youth and speed=cups. And I meant Kopecky in the original post, just noticed I said Hossa, none of them would replace Hossa.

Next year if we say Versteeg goes and Buff and Sharp stay. The lines are obviously gonna be drastically different, but just off the top of my head.

Buff-Toews-Kane

Brouwer-Sharp-Hossa

Ladd-Bolland-Beach

Burish-Dowell-Eager/Bickell

7-2

51-4

6-25<Maiden's favorite number......much better player.

Good point.

Attention rest of the world. Czechs and Slovakians are two different nationalities with two different languages. And quit butchering Kopecky's name. It is pronounced the same way you would pronounce -ski in a Polish name, thus Kopetski. Thank you.

Please dont saddle Lolande with that god forsaken number. It's the death for anyone who has worn it. Name me 1 good player who has worn #25 in the past 50 years?

My god your right, I mean Maxime Talbot, Jason Chimera, Denis Wideman(6 now). I also don't like the number, I'd love for Lalonde to take #16, always thought it was an underrated number, Hull's early number also.

Hahah single digit or double digit?

I'd take pretty much any number other than #25. Even though I just found a very good player who wore #25, Joe Nieuwendyk.
LOL Stu.

He had a great game. That forecheck in the last minute was my play of the game. He was HUUUUUUGE!!

Goal was nice too although the play shopuld have been whistled dead lol. We deserved a break our way for once after the shit officiating against us these playoffs.

That a bOy Kopecky. If Ladd can't go then you sir are a fine replacement!!

Thinking about you too though Colin.
It evened out, we should have been on the pp when Betts scored due to the high stick on seabrook that wasn't called (which was blatant no if ands or buts about that missed call.

I will admit I was concerned Carcillo was getting into Kopecky's had a little too much in game 2. But..I liked that TOMAAAAAAAS stood face to face with Carcillo and showed him he wasn't intimidated. Infact looked like Carcillo was a little thrown back by this. Didn't see much of Carcillo/Kopecky action after that stand off.

I keep forgetting how big Kopecky is.

Ehhh...I'll add more fuel to the Czechoslovak fire...

It's a given that Slovaks hate being referred to a Czechs. Kinda like if Canadians are referred to as "Americans", or Australians called "British".

But, every single Slovak I have ever met hates their language being called or they being referred to as a "Slovakian". It's just "Slovak".

And yes, I can say that with some level of authroity; I'm engaged to one.

I would be like calling us "Americanese" or "Canadish"
