He does seem to be able to show a remarkable ability, as a commentator anyway, of predicting not only what the defense is doing, but what play the offense is likely to run.

That being said, I'm not so sure Mark Helfrich is a bad OC. It's hard to tell when he's not calling the plays (well, as far as we as fans know).
