I hope when people say The Office they mean the UK version.
I can't speak for others but I can't stand the UK version.

Trailer Park Boys
Top Gear(UK of course)
Ever
1) Cheers
2) Once Upon a Time
3) Cosby Show
Speaking of the old black & white shows...I was really hard pressed not to work in the Dick Van Dyke Show.I'd remove Cosby Show with Honeymooners

He would make my Top 3 all time actor list.
Masterchef
Elementary
Bates Motel
Not only are these my favorite three shows, they're pretty much the only ones I regularly watch.
I'm not much of a TV guy either.
Let me preface this by saying I don't watch a lot of television.
I've never seen:
Star Trek
Lost
Game of Thrones
Dexter
Mad Men
Breaking Bad
True Blood
The Walking Dead
True Detective
and countless other popular shows
My top 3 shows:
1. Friday Night Lights
2. The Office
3. The Shield
This is easy for me because I'm not a big TV watcher though.
What are your top 3 shows?
Breaking Bad
The Wire
Arrested Development
Breaking Bad
The Wire
Arrested Development
I can agree with that.
Game of Thrones is incredible but it could end like crap. That is what happened to Dexter. The Wire and Breaking Bad are examples of how to end a series. Arrested Development is no doubt my favorite comedy. It edges our Scrubs. I rewatched the entire series of Scrubs on Netflix a few months ago. That show is still amazing.
I haven't watched Dexter(my mom watched it and told me a bit about it), but IMO those two shows are very different. I think GOT could end up shitting the bed, but it's based on Martin's writing and he's done a fantastic job so far. Now if he gets rushed or writes himself into a hole, that's a different story. Or if the TV series starts making bad adaptations to ASOIAF. But I would be surprised if the quality just dropped towards the end, especially because Martin is writing with a conclusion in mind and he's going to put a lot of these loose pieces and plotlines together. The HBO people are aware of the ending as well.I can agree with that.

I haven't watched Game of Thrones yet. No doubt that they drug on Dexter waaaaay too long. It could have been great. The more I'm thinking about it, there is probably some more to consider for my top 3. Band of Brothers was pretty damn good (not really sure if that counts as a TV show though).
I think Game of Thrones will end up being in my top three. I know they are aware but they could still screw it up, Dexter is a perfect example of this.
I know the writers know how GRRM plans to end it and there are certain things about the series that are better. Namely the combination of books 4 and 5. My point was I couldn't put GOT in the top 3 because it could end horrible. It is currently my favorite show by far and it isn't close. Breaking Bad right now is probably #1 all time. Sons of Anarchy is pretty good as well.
