They have always been a rapey bunch.

1. Nick Miller - New Girl
2. Michael Scott - Office
3. Walter White - Breaking Bad
4. Jerry Seinfeld - Seinfeld
5. Don Draper - Mad Men
Counterpoint:
I watched 20 minutes of New Girl two different times, and literally can not believe it is on TV. The two main male characters are the two worst actors I have seen on TV. Steve Carell as Michael Scott was terrible. The character was written well, but Carrell is horribly unfunny. I realize the majority disagrees on Carell, but wow, he's just bad.
No order:
Louie DiPalma
Tony Soprano
Omar Little
Hawkeye Pierce
Walter White
I'm sorry that you lack a sense of humor.
I have a terrific sense of humor. Thus, New Girl doesn't cut it. I literally don't even know which lines on that show are even supposed to be funny.
Old ppl (like you and FT) must not like funny shows. Nick reminds me a lot of my college self so I can relate to him.
Kramer
Cartman
Tony Soprano
Dr. Cox
Dwight Schrute
