1. Nick Miller - New Girl
I like Nick Miller just bc he was a Cutler apologist. Schmidt/Winston/Coach were better characters imo
1. Nick Miller - New Girl
Die hard christian nominates.....Bill Cosby
:slap:
Also, Sam Malone. A womanizer and sex addict.
Old ppl (like you and FT) must not like funny shows. Nick reminds me a lot of my college self so I can relate to him.
Forgot Dr Cox
Counterpoint:
I watched 20 minutes of New Girl two different times, and literally can not believe it is on TV. The two main male characters are the two worst actors I have seen on TV. Steve Carell as Michael Scott was terrible. The character was written well, but Carrell is horribly unfunny. I realize the majority disagrees on Carell, but wow, he's just bad.
What? There's a reason there's a billion Michael Scott memes around and that's because his character was hysterical. His character was hysterical because Carell played him so well.
The Season 1 Michael was a little rough, but I think it's because it was Carrell trying to play Gervais playing David Brent. Towards the end of season 1 and then starting with Season 2 the character really took off.
Scrubs, in general, is forgotten about way to much. Show was great.
I could never bring myself to watch that show because after the movie Garden State, I couldn't bear that Braff guy in anything.
I think all of them were a bit rough the first season but really grew into their roles, especially Jim and Dwight.
Michael's absolute hatred for Toby and Carell's way of portraying that just kills me every time. The best line ever is when he tells Toby if he had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Toby, Bin Laden, and Hitler he'd shoot Toby twice.

Same.
Exact.
Experience.
Garden State, to this day is the worst movie I have ever seen. Period.
FWIW, I think Office is one of the best shows ever but Parks and Rec might be an easier "watch"(Although it's first season is pretty rough too). I don't think it ever achieved the long peak that Office did IMO, but it also never had the bottoming out that The Office had when Andy became manager.
