Lupe is my favorite rap artist. The shit he says is pretty impactful. People were down on lasers because he somewhat gave in and dumbed it down, but that never took away from the message IMO. It's actually a pretty good cd. Tetsuo and Youth is easily one of my favorite LPs of all time though, through any genre. And I never thought Lupe would top The Cool.

Love Lupe, and Ab-Soul is incredibly underrated IMO, great song.

I think Ab-Soul outshined Lupe on this one, and Lupe was phenomenal here. This song made me look up Ab-Soul and led me to this gem:

Yeah, Ab's got bars. He's under the TDE record label, which also has Kendrick, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock. They all are/were in a group called Black Hippy.
