Dream Theater

OMG, I still can't believe the first time I saw this was already 14 years ago. Glad it didn't totally die into obscurity.

So you've completely abandoned your attempt to convince me that Burton Cummings is a Rock & Roller, good call, that was a nonstarter. You've changed the argument to: he plays way off strip Vegas nothing venues, and you banged a fat drunk chick you met at one of Cummings light rock pussyfests.

No gripe there, we agree, happy hunting at the next super sensitive tear filled 'concert'. When he goes to "These Eyes" you tell that chunker "Burton wrote this about you", deal sealed!

I never tried to convince you, just proved that you are wrong. Anyway you are on my ignore list now. Go suck a lemon.

I will miss our talks. I would like to leave one more scorching hot Burton Cummings jet fueled Heavy Metal classic of what Albert considers to be Rock & Roll.

I believe Mr. Cummings set fire to his piano after this super charged hard rock anthem.

Here's a jewel of a song featuring the voice.

No, he gave up on me, I'm on ignore. His mission now is to convince the rest of the world that Burton Cummings is really a hard core rocker. If the first 14 Cummings easy listening videos he's already posted haven't convinced everyone, I don't know where he goes next.

From here on, it's not my fault.

I liked that one.

I knew someone who was really into dream theater. They got some pretty good songs. YTSE jam was always a good one as well. I usually tend to forget about them though, for whatever reason. I mean, honestly, I have so much music that I forget about a lot of shit I have. I have over 210 GB of music on a hard drive, and that doesn't include shit that I lost. I seriously love HDDs for music storage. It gave me the opportunity to de-clutter my living space of CDs.

Such an underrated song.

As is Achilles Last Stand, one of my Zep favorites. Dogs is underrated as well. It's so long that it probably didn't get much radio play. Animals is such a great record. They played Pigs the other day on late night radio. Had to put the CD on after that.

Speaking of which... I always cringe when I hear a song on the radio that I really like and they cut out part of the solo or breakdown to make it shorter and more radio friendly.

Killing in the Name by RATM is probably a prime example of this but I admit that they have to do it for that one. lol.
