Huh? I didn't say what the player is feeling. I'm saying that tightness doesn't equal pain. If there is pain, then it isn't just tightness, there's something else, like a pull, which is a strain, which merits sitting out. Its not hard to understand.

Do you go to the Doctor when your pecs get tight?
Are you failing to comprehend a NFL player is not similar to you?

I guess I'm looking at the fact he was never able to Crack the lineup last year with the cluster **** that it was. Seems to staff has been higher on hambright and I thought he was really terrible last year. I have much higher hopes for Borom
This coaching staff is really taking a slow roll approach with all the Rookies, but I hope it is just to put a fire in their belly.

No. My life doesn't revolve around making a shit ton of money play at peak athletic proficiency with the best players in the world...

If I did, I can guarantee you I would see a doctor if I had any unusual muscle tightness. And the team investing a **** ton of money in me playing would want me to see Doctors. Especially if it was in my back.

You guys are failing to comprehend that muscles are muscles, regardless of occupation. Being tight is normal. Being tight to the point where you're out of practice for a week isn't tightness, its something more.

Being tight may be normal. And it may not. You know how they can be certain?

See the team doctor.

If you guys are actually keeping up on this, Jenkins wants to play, but the team doctors are holding him back as a precaution. It sounds like Jenkins feels good enough to play but they are being overly cautious.
That's honestly pretty meaningless that Nagy said that. Just like all this conversation is meaningless. Well know more next week

just for some info on this for everyone's edification:

Players are told to disclose any ailment, any muscle issues, every fucking hangnail to team doctors.

An area like the back or hamstring is going to garner extra attention from medical staff. This early in training camp they probably want to be extra cautious.

There are injuries you don't practice with but you can play with.

We do not have the same requirements here.

See the team doctor.
If they're tight, they see a massage therapist. If they're hurting, they see team doctors.

Tightness is normal. This isn't subjective. Its a product of their lifestyle.

If you're a football guru you should try creating content like @Adipost , not spending time complaining about my "negative" pedestrian posts.

So work on that and stop seeking me out.
Dude how is he "seeking you out" lol. It's a forum and you're literally posting about him so he is replying back lol.

So weird.

Players report all levels of discomfort or tightness to team doctors.

There is expected levels of muscle tightness in players throughout the year, even in practice. And that is reported to doctors. It is up to the doctors to hold them back either for real issues or precautionary reasons.

The bottom line is none of us know shit about his specific situation and just because he spoke to a doctor doesn't mean he is Chris Williams part two or that the Predator ripped his spine out on a trophy hunt.

I think the g fact that he opted out last season due to a back injury is raising concern, had he not been injured last season no worries.
