You don’t think the team is built to win now?
i think the entire world wanting to see the new toy will eventually wear them down....Nagy's in a tough spot, if he brings the kid out and he's not ready...vs if he doesn't bring him out and they go on a losing streak

I don't think they're above average on either side of the ball.
I think they are average or above at a lot of positions. But the positions that are questionable (OT and CB) could derail everything else. If I were mediocre/questionable I'd rather it was safety or lb on defense and rb or te on offense.

I see zero point in making a sit or play proclamation without seeing the player go through preseason. He is ready to play once he has absorbed enough information, has little left to gain by sitting, and is the superior QB.

Once you know how to hold a nail and how to swing a hammer, you no longer improve by watching a carpenter pound in nails, you improve by hammering them in yourself, inevitably bending a few.

Whether that be game 1, 8 or Game 1 of 2022 makes no difference. Comparing his situation at this point to that of Mahomes or Wilson is uneducated conjecture.

Obviously, we all want it to be sooner rather than later.

When will some of you learn: There is no successful template on whether a rookie QB should sit or start.

"I saw Mahomes sit for a year, and now he's the best! So that's what the Bears should do!"

Yeah, we can also name guys who started right away and were awesome too.

There is no template. Stop acting like there is.

Unproven at QB and OL on offense.
Under-productive pass rush and shaky secondary on defense.

The most important components on both sides of ball are all big question marks.
