This guy is really coming along as a reliable pass catcher. Lets see how he looks running the ball.
With the Cohen news, you just know Matt Nagy is itching to put him at PR.

The race is against time right now. You ideally want your 5 OL starters to get some rapport and reps in preseason before facing a dominant DL in the Rams. Jenkins is feeling like a couple weeks before he can start taking any reps. Borom is now going to be tried to plug the hole at LT and Ifedi is still an unknown timeline. Pace has hurt himself with the tight cap space so he has to burn time now hoping they can plug the holes with roster talent already here. If they go the veteran route, you again need them in here to get reps and rapport and the time for doing that is quickly ticking away. I'll give Pace credit for trying to make changes at OL this offseason but the injuries are now crushing his bet he made and leaving the team exposed.
I am of two minds.

On the one hand I could see people getting upset over paste drafting someone with really high potential but a pre-existing injury or at least some sort of injury history.

But on the other hand, Pace also covered his ass with Borom. Which is smart if you're going for a high risk, high reward type player in the draft earlier.

At this point, I'm not ready to rip dicks off yet. I want to see how everything settles. Not every pick is going to work out in a draft. I just care that they can feel the team and if the most important pick, fields, pans out

The Bears probably actually need foles cap space to sign someone like okung. And even with that it may need to be a multi-year deal to backload or use void years.

I wonder how the new "required" vaccine rule to enter all in all indoor settings will apply to outdoor stadiums in New York. I imagine this will coming to Chicago soon as well.
They won't have to worry about it in terms of the football stadiums.

You may want to check what state those stadiums are geographically located in. ?

Cap would be an even bigger issue with the T's he cut. That said, Pace put himself in this position with some bad contracts. In other news, I think Borom will have growing pains but surprise at LT if Teven can't go. I predicted a mid pack OL this year and sticking to it. It would take losing both starting Ts etc to sway me from that prediction and at that point, almost every team would have major issues.

That Teven can't do core work for over a month is concerning. Shit happens but I don't want to hear this is a disc issue that started in college. Not the world as it can be repaired and have him good as new later but you don't draft a projected starter with a bad disc.

I was well aware of why he ended last year early but all the pre draft stuff indicated he was fine.
