Good luck to him. I think he'll do great just doing offense and not having to lead the whole team.

Not if you go by his history. I agree though if anyplace can make him a long term success it's Baltimore.

I think he'll have some success there in his first year. It's that second year we'll see how good he is. That's when people catch on to his system.

But if his system doesn't change, why does he have success for one year at each stop?

Chud is going to interview.

If Gase and Fox were interested in working together again, Gase would have been hired by now.

Yeah it's almost like he is a fall back option.

Gase is running out of options now! His interviews must be like:

GM: What is your offensive philosophy?

Gase: Well, I send the play in to Payton, he changes it to whatever he wants, then we score!!

I think he will do well as the Ravens OC. He doesn't have to manage the team...just call the plays on offense.

Not necessarily. They both could be simply exploring all their options.

That means the Bears aren't on the hook for his full salary

The front office has to be dancing on top of their desks at the mere thought of this (Bears fans too).

Gase has already supposedly be connected to Jacksonville... why he isn't officially there yet I don't know but Marrone only being OL/AHC leans to that still as likely since their OC job is still open when easily Marrone would make sense to fill it if they were hiring him.

Yep, his history always says his offenses take a step back in year 2.

I wish Trestman the best. He should be fine as a coordinator under an experienced HC.

Just checked out the ravens forum, they look pretty excited about the hiring. I bet he doesn't make it to the 3rd year of his deal.

We played them last year. I don't think Trestman remains long enough for the AFC-NFC North matchup happens again.

Played Ravens in 2013, not this past year. We'll see them again in 2017.
