Great return for Brouwer actually. Can't really argue with that deal. I am hoping we are getting a guy that can fill the Ladd role a few years back because Brouwer wasn't it.

Dunno - it could mean they want to give Beach a shot too. The guy they drafted at 18 doesn't look too soft either (although it also sounds like he isn't quite ready).

It was a money drop -as they have to free up some cash to take a shot at the centre spot. Although it will take more than just this to pull it off I am thinking.

Edit: I love the trib story on this "NHL Source says..." yeah, um Kuc, why not own up to reading it off of Darran Dreger's Twitter. . .
