The CCS Bears Forum threads are the last places I'd look for objectivity or rational thought.

Anyone can 'massage' a 2018 NFL passing "statistic" to make their QB appear good (Trubisky has completed 11 passes where the ball was in the air for 15 yards!). I'm not really a fan of alleged 'passing metrics', especially when you've only played a few games.
The worst part of Trubisky's entire tenure with the Bears was his initial 2018 games...he had no pocket awareness. All the talk of "development" and "better coaching", yet Trubisky looked even worse than he did at the end of 2017. To me, the Cutler-esque 'happy feet' was a terrible sign.
But Trubisky looked completely at ease in the pocket in both the Tampa and Miami games. Perhaps he's turned a corner and will remain a starting-caliber QB in the NFL. Perhaps he was just playing two bad defenses and will regress to the Cutler level against Belichick's defensive schemes. It's too early to tell.
I will say that his two long completions to Gabriel against Miami were encouraging. He has shown very poor touch on deep passes, getting antsy and often overthrowing guys who are wide open downfield. This aspect of Trubisky's game needs to improve, despite what the 'metrics' say.
