As a viewer, yes. The scenes with his wife were poorly written. These shows just aren't very clever.

Mis-read it. Thought you meant you were lost in the storyline and what was going on.

S1 was great until the ending.
S2 was better than people are saying, better than most crap on TV, not even close to as good as S1.
S3 so far 3 episodes so good.

I haven't watched season 3 but your S1 & S2 quick recaps are spot on. S2 took awhile to get going and considering the rampant sex trafficking in the world/country, they should have tried to at least tie the first 2 seasons together somehow.

Stephen Dorff has been impressively good.

This show doesn't disappoint with the shootouts.

I have a theory about Tom and Roland.

Scoot McNairy plays the father, he's good in everything I've seen him in, I think he's killing it in this.

Yes his acting is good. But I hate the character. Just a really wimpy excuse for a man. What kind of man let's his wife whore around like that without consequence?

What sort of consequences are you hinting at?

How did you pick up on the *** thing? Though now that you mention it, I could see that.

What consequence for a wife that whores around? Well, divorce at the very least and take full custody of the kids.

That was my theory too. In the last episode they hinted at that while talking to his old boss. That's my theory with Tom/Roland..

Duh. My theory is that He and Roland had a relationship. Hence why Roland says, "you really don't remember what you did to me..?" to his partner when they are in the 2015 timeline.

See that... I was just about to binge watch but no way now.

I pushed through because I was bored by a cold. The show has some good aspects. I'm just not as big of a fan of all the new TV mini series. Seems production values are very high, but in the end it's still just TV, and writing is not always strong. A lot of stretching to spread it out over the allotted, or decided time. I found the scenes with his immediate family, particularly the wife are weak, and hard for me to watch because they are so weak. May be better as a binge watch, than a weekly watch.

I'm just a jaded viewer when it comes to TV and movies.
