tonights game of thrones episode was aweeeeesome. Loved the trial scenes i won't spoil any of it for those who have yet to see it. Therien is just the best fucking character on t.v. and dincklage is the shit. he better get some rewards soon for the unreal acting job he does every episode. seriously the show wouldn't be as good as it is without him. really written well for his character also not sure if that is directly from the books or not. whatever the case may be dinklage demands full attention when he is on screen and he easilly gets it from me.

I have a hard time watching GoT and not have this song go through my head, damn you Matt and Trey:

I enjoyed the battle at the wall in game of thrones. I very much enjoyed the gore and violence and a good solid 30-40 minutes of carnage. That could not have been a cheap thing to film. ME LIKE!!!

GoT season finale was so damn good. So much happened. So many awesome moments. Since the show got signed for 2 more seasons I sure hope they film seasons 5 and 6 at the same time so we don't have to wait so long between the next 2 seasons.

Yah it was aweeeeeesome!!! Thought by now that the show would have ran it's course with me and my bad attention span but it just keeps getting better and better. Never been invested in so many characters in a tv show like this even though they keep falling like flies. And I don't even like Fantasy one bit it's my least fav genre..but this show this damn show has me by the balls.

I think the thing with the show is that it has so much good source material and they aren't even through half of it yet that they don't have to start recycling stuff and playing out the same old sad story lines that other dramas run into about season 5-6. Like I love SoA but it got old at because every season was exactly the same just different players. Even breaking bad was starting to run into it but they finished everything off strong, if they would have tried to keep going it would have been running into running out of ideas of what they can feasibly do. Too often shows run out extra season because they want to milk the show for revenue but it really just starts sucking. True Blood went downhill fast, walking dead as well, but I hear it has returned some. Tring to think of some others who just should have ended.

But anyway, GoT just hasn't got to that point yet because there is so much going on and so many different story lines that each on of them probably could have been it's own show. So they aren't running out of excitement. Which is truly surprising considering how many people have read the books and still get excited.

Watched a bit Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. It's good to see he's getting lots of internet exposure with his epic rants. He did great taking on Net Neutrality and Dr Oz and the supplement industry. I would say he's not quite as funny as Jon Stewart but his segments seem more direct and angrier. I've enjoyed it.

So I finally dumped my digital cable. I now only have basic/standard cable and am streaming most of what I watch through Netflix and Amazon Prime. So far, so good. I do miss all the extra sports channels though.

That's the main reason I haven't dropped yet. There's really only 3 stations I need on cable that prevent me from dropping it. Comcast Sportsnet, NBC Sports and HBO. Comcast now has a internet plus package that is high speed internet, very basic cable, and HBO. If I could find a way to stream Hawks games in HD quality while living in the Chicago area I would do it. I've used Hide My Ass and it works, but it's still not reliable enough.

Since I live outside the greater Chicago area Center Ice on-line has been nice. I'll miss all the games on NHL network this season. But that's about it.

Pay for NHL Game center. You can stream in HD through Xbox or PS

Do you have a link to this package somewhere? I haven't seen it, I only see their double play and triple play BS with all the channels I don't need.
