Will you believe it when Boozer only plays 30 games next year ?

I would take that chance.
Losing Ty and Kirk for a gimp Boozer isnt as good of a deal as alot of people make it out to be.

only if you're high.

tyrus has potential. he will be missed, but kirk is on a crappy contract. he needs to be moved asap.

I don't agree that Tyrus is a nobody. I think he'll continue to improve and play productively in the league for a long time. I think we've seen enough to also know his limitations, though. I don't think he'll suddenly transform into a super consistent, mistake-free player either. Bottom line here is that he's not going to get extended by the Bulls, and I'm fine with that, so it's probably best to let go a bit. I hope he does get it together in a new setting, actually. It's not happening here either way, so if we can use him as a chip in a useful trade, go for it.

This is how I see it, Bulls might as well trade for Boozer and don't get too greedy - if you can't get Bayless, so what. Realistically, I don't think they will resign Tyrus Thomas if he performs average this year. Can you blame me for that statement, after all, we know about the recent events with Gordon. Two-time all-star, Boozer, automatically solidifies our PF position. Only four games last year, Boozer scored less than 10 points. Boozer rebounding rate is nuts! He came in second during the playoffs behind Dwight Howard in rebounding. Guess who came in second... Joakim Noah. on the downside, Tyrus Thomas came in at the 30th slot. That's not good when you have the likes of Derrick Rose, Andre Miller, and Strawberry Shortcake aka Rashard Lewis in front of you when it comes to playoff rebounding. Remember, we're primarily a jump-shooting team, which means rebounding is very crucial for second chances. Face it, we play from the outside-outside lol. For god sake, Mike Miller got more rebounds than Tyrus Thomas during the regular season. You have a guy like Tyrus Thomas that is playing on the perimeter, whom have no skills beyond 15 feet doing this, I mean, it isn't a good look. I tell you, Gar Forman just got away with murder if he trades the tweener away for a man, literally, a man at PF. Plus, if you want Wade, you just can't go into the 2010 offseason trying to persuade Wade to come here on the likes of Derrick Rose and the hometown ticket theme, it isn't happening. I can see us making noise with Rose at Point, Wade at Scoring-Guard, a healthy Deng on the Wing, Boozer at Power4, and a stronger, improving Noah at Center. Think about it. I'm going to laugh at Gar Forman if he lets short-arm Bayless get in the way of this deal. Hell, go out in Free Agency and sign some guys and quit being cheap. I want to make 30 million a year, I can't; I don't have those connections. Dido, Bosh isn't coming here. For what, Rose?

Swing young fella, swing!

*He held his own against Bynum, Odom, and Gasol. His front-line didn't have Okur because he was injured.

*He's only 27 - two more than Bosh.

*He was more productive than guys that advanced further than him.

Bayless isn't holding up the deal, its Reinsdorf's love affair and unwillingness to part w/ Hinrich, any other player besides Rose, maybe Noah, and this deal gets done

Why would it be Reinsdorf's love affair with Hinrich, why not Paxson's love affair with Hinrich? I would think that is more accurate.

It's swapping a one year rental of Tyrus for a one year rental of Boozer and losing Kirk's contract really. How you view it probably depends on how desperate you are to shed Kirk's salary. Personally I'd rather swap him for a player than in a salary dump.
