Uh... how'd we get Ha-Ha so cheap (and why isn't anyone else asking this)?

He claims a big reason was that Eddie Jackson whom he has a rapport with convinced him that the Bears team has a great player atmosphere as well as being up and coming. And Dix wants to be up and coming.

I have no idea how we got him but I sure as hell am going to have an awesome time looking at him all season. Bears are loading up on eye candy and I have absolutely zero complaints about that. You know, it's funny, as much as I fantasize about getting invited to the Bears locker room, I never really pursued it. This might be the first season that I make some calls and fire off some emails to try to set something up.

I remember Jack Bruce playing bass in the studio for one of Eddie Money's tracks. It was, needless to say, awesome. Eric Clapton showed up, but they already had Steve Stevens so they told Clapton to scram.

I'm betting Eddie told Eric to go home and come up a racist rant like he did in the 70's

Eddie gave him two tickets to get lost.

Sidenote: On the all-time list of talentless music stars...where does Eddie Money rank? Top 25? Top 10? One slot above Clapton?

Good teams get guys who will take less to up their value and get exposure.

Rapoport said that HHCD had a multi year deal for 6-7 million/year on the table from Washington.

And I'm betting his bags were already packed and he left early in the afternoon

I'd put him in the top 10...Eric is near the top of the list with only CC DeVille topping him in terms of talentless guitar heros. They're all kind of the Jay Cutler's of the music industry.

I'd fit Mike Rutherford in that grouping as well.
