I had a shady ass cousin in college that used to do a few shady things all the time.
1. He would go to restaurants and simply walk out on the bill. No joke. Get all dressed up, go to a swanky restaurant, order like hundreds and hundreds of dollars of food and simply act like he was going to the rest room and then simply never return. I got stuck paying his bill once because he was trying to convince me to just walk out and that was the last time I ever went out for food with him. Luckily he had the decency to only walk out on my at a late night IHOP after we came from a frat party.
2. This dude was dating like 3 or 4 girls at different hotels around his college and would get them to give his friends and family free rooms by just having his girl give unoccupied rooms to them.
3. When he came to visit me in Chapel Hill, he would book rooms in fancy hotels and then report the card stolen and cancel the credit card the night before the charges hit. He would then just leave without paying. Charge never hit the credit card company so they would tell the hotel to **** off and now the hotel would have to waste time trying to prove he was at the hotel and many times they just dropped the issue. He would then just switch credit card companies after a while and then just rinse and repeat.
Of course, eventually shit caught up to him and he had all sorts of charges against him and so he just left and went back to The Bahamas. To this day, he can't enter the US legally but being the shady **** he is, he just pops over to Florida on a boat whenever he wants to go to the US and then just drives where ever else he wants to go by having someone else rent him a car.
