Unlike Shane Waldron, Ben Johnson screamed at Caleb Williams to (expletive) figure it out.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I’ll be optimistic until when this turns to shit. At least things are different. Johnson yells at Caleb instead of ignoring him like Waldron.
if Caleb nosedives, this board will throw Johnson under the bus immediately

Kinda surprised to see negativity about this. This is awesome. Knock Calebs ass down a peg in front of everyone. Not everything can be blamed on Waldron and Flus. I was more worried Ben would be the “it’s ok, we’ll get ‘em next time” type. Obviously not…

And I will be slightly pessimistic until I see genuine success. We can be the team’s yin and yang

Williams' rookie year was memorable despite playing behind an offensive line that surrendered the most sacks in the league and under a play-caller whose best contribution to the team was getting himself fired. He has nowhere to go but up.

This is what Caleb asked for. It’s up to him to take the criticism and coaching to improve. From everything I have read Johnson is tough but he follows up, it isn’t just empty yelling with no teaching.

Wow. More clickbait trash. Another nothingburger made to sound like a big deal. Do posters here even read this bullshit before commenting? Why is this allowed here? God damn this place sucks.

Reading this is giving me ptsd. This offseason can’t end soon enough

Nope. If CW nosedives, I’ll be confident that we finally at least have the coaching staff and talent to help the next guy succeed from his rookie year.

Name a QB that Ben Johnson developed as a rookie I'll be waiting

I feel like we as Bears fans are undeserving if the Bears were ever to win a Superbowl. Crying about a coach being assertive? What the actual Fukk?
