UPDATE after reading previous posts, Maybe Fox had to be in Denver for some thing, and Pace followed him to finalize contract.

Or maybe Fox wanted to prove to Elway that another team is actually interested in him, so Elway says "prove it!". Fox calls in the Bears brigade with contract in hand.

Pace pursuing both Fox and Gase?

With Gase likelihood of getting a HC diminishing, it is not outside realm of possibility that Pace is attempting to reach out to Fox and Gase. Gase interviewed with Elway today, but if Elway goes another direction I think Fox and Gase are a better pairing than Fox and Shanahan.

This may be a courting process to convince Gase to join Bears.

On paper if its Fox with Allen and Shanahan as the coordinators that quite the improvement from what Trestman assembled. They still have a ways to go personnel wise but that's not a bad staff.
