Some more news tonight: apparently, an off-duty cop drove home Kane and a friend, the accuser, and her friend that night. Been a hired driver of Kane's for five years.

That was the one part of the story I wondered about. If they left a bar at 3:00 a.m., who was driving and in what condition. At least he's smart enough to have a driver. I can't believe anyone with that much money would drive themselves after partying, but it happens all the time.

No, the 2nd allegation against Ben was prior to the 2010 season, his 7th. The first allegation was after the 2008 Super Bowl, but charges were not brought against him after it was proved that the accuser was texting her friends after they had sex, bragging about it.

I'm sorry, but that's crap. Lots of people sleep around, and nobody deserves to be accused of a crime unless they committed a crime, not because you feel they acted immorally. We won't know if that is the case with Kane until more facts come to light.
If he did it, he deserves everything he has coming to him.
You're kind of all over the map on this one. In one post you say it's BS that he's getting called a rapist, then follow up that he deserves it.

If the officer drove the four of them from the bar to Kane's house, I wonder how the females got home the next day.

Good point - didn't the initial story say she left with her friend immediately after it happened? In fact, I thought they went straight to the police.

The woman left Kane’s home with her friend and used a cellphone to call a relative immediately after the alleged attack. She then went to a local hospital for examination, and police were called afterward, the sources said.

I don't think that's what is happening here, actually.
For me, the most interesting part of the story was that off-duty cop refuting the notion that the accuser did not want to go to Kane's house ... the cop said she was actually the one pushing for them to go to Kane's house. But you also have to keep in mind that this officer was a known associate of Kane and there were even pictures of him drinking beer out of the Cup with Kane holding it for him. So you have to consider that when weighing his comments.

Just like you have to take into account her friends telling the opposite story.
The odd thing is that we' re just now hearing about the cop driving them, and Kane's buddy going with them. Why wasn't that news to the Buffalo and Chicago press before now?
Anyway, make sure you use small words when replying to MS and type slow - he don't read so fast.

Because the Buffalo PD has done its best to keep any details of the investigation from leaking out to the press. Takes some digging by that press to get information out, piece by piece, as long as they continue to keep everything bottled up.
