It is somewhat irrelevant, but printing assumptions leads to a bias of perception, which does nothing but further damage someone who has not yet been charged. Much of what has been "published" may prove to be correct, but for now, it's all tabloid drivel...much like the majority of this thread...and to a lesser degree...this post. :farley:

My agenda has been since day one that nobody knows what happened, so I've called out everyone who's shown support one way or another. You've made it clear that you don't think he's done it and many of us have called you on it. Some are more blatant with it then others. If someone claims he did do it, I'd reply back to them in the same manner. Expect nobody has gone that far, it's just the typical meatballs that think Kane didn't do shit (same meatballs who give Bobby Hull a standing "O").

I agree, anything leaning in any direction towards "He's innocent" or "He's guilty"based on the relased facts themselves is all just a guess, bias, or a combination of both.

Legally though, he's innocent until proven guilty. So, if someone says, "I think he's innocent because I haven't seen much evidence that convinces me beyond a resonable doubt that he sexually assaulted/raped that woman", it's not that far off base.

Personally, I'm withholding my opinion until more evidence comes forward.

For what it's worth, incarcerated Bob on Twitter is reporting that Kane will not be charged with rape. Reddit users also commenting that sources are confirming that but no one is willing to name that said "source."

I just found the reddit comments interesting but they are gone now. My guess is if there is a leak, It might be a ploy to lower the guard on some witnesses.

Oh wait, he hasn't even been charged. In fact, the DA and Hamburg police never used his name and the word "rape" together in the limited words they have said to the press.

That was all started by Timpartial Graham at the Buffalo News, likely for the reason evidenced here - Kane will be known as a "rapist who got away" if never charged, which parlays well into a civil suit.

I was reading the articles yesterday about Kane talking to the police. WGN, Sun Times, ESPN, CBS Sports - none of them used the word "rape" unless quoting the BN or saying "as reported by the Buffalo News", maybe three references total. Then I read the BN article of same, "rape" in the headline, four more times in the article, four sidebar linds to "rape" headlines with Kane.

The BN seems to have a vested interest in painting Kane as a rapist.
