Not only that, but I've seen the word "rape" on ESPN, CNN, and others.

Its out there.

I want to apologize for the offensive comments I made in this thread and the individuals that were collateral damage of my own bias' and current irritation level. DMelt and Trev.

Its nothing to do with you. I don't know how to be sober and the thing I figured out pacified me 5 years ago (weed) has been taken away from me. I'm pulling out my hair and want to smash everything. I can't go outside into public because somebody is liable to offend me because people have no respect for each other anymore. Thats not fair to others to expect a bygone era of curtesy that disappeared while I have been living in my cave in the mountains and apartments for the last 12 years, or to expect something I want to give to be returned. I should give curtesy and love freely without expectation and learn to accept the disrespect inherent in the mentality of individualism, nationalism and distrust of others we pump into our national zeitgeist.

Anyway, I'm sorry I popped. I'm unbalanced right now and out of sorts due to prolonged frustration at spiraling circumstances and the abrupt removal of my glorious green crutches.

Be well and use statistics better.

Cassandra.

Glad to see half of you went full Special person in my absence. Way to go guys.

And can anyone help me out as to why Italianbeef cited the definition of rape adopted by many universities recently, and not an actual legal definition as defined by the state of NY? I know most of you don't bother reading much outside of sports, but there has been a massive uproar by legal professionals (especially law professors) about the ever broadening definition of rape on campuses.

Edit: Seriously people, read some of these articles: http://overlawyered.com/?s=sex+on+campus

Bernstein is going off on callers now and he's actually in the right for once. Waaaay to much Kane love and being delusional that it's not possible.

He's been very fair on this and everyone is blowing up.

The amount of victim blaming on social media (without any facts) are staggering at the moment regarding some of these "fans."
What's worse are the amounts of girls/women that are doing the victim blaming.
I'm like DMelt. There's not enough info out there at the moment, but it's insane on what some of the reactions are to this situation with little to no facts.

This is the part of their show that I just don't get. I know there are stupid people out there who are going to with Kane no matter what. And Bernstein is certainly going to be right in this argument. So why let these callers through just for Bernstein to go off on them? It's just segments of Bernstein yelling at some of the dumbest fucking people among sports fans.

People laugh and tune in to hear it. I personally don't like making fun of other people even if I think they are way off course, but some people need it to validate themselves

Well, yeah. That's obviously it.

I just don't see how people find it entertaining. And that's where so much of my annoyance with Bernstein stems from. Big fan of Boers, though.

As an avid hater of Bernstein I want to believe this is true, but this seems like a stretch too far for him to make. Unless it was Brandon Marshall or Derrick Rose, then he'd be leading the mob.

Believe me or not, around 2:30 him and Rozner just blasting Kane and his Madison incident, the cabbie incident and the limo incident and now this . Borestein was in his self righteous hateful growling voice that makes him so unlistenable for me.

He just talked about not presuming anything until the facts come out. This was just stated a minute ago.
What are people reading/listening to?

I'm guessing you came in on his show when he was backpedaling from what he was spewing earlier.

I never listen to sports radio, mainly because it's all repetitive and boring. I only turned on today as I know he's a loose cannon.

Currently share an office with a couple grumpy old guys who listen to The Score just about all day, every day.

I listened to it all.
Kane's a drunk party-head, and got himself into shit with cabbie incident. All of that is correct.
What Bernstein's point was if there's a pattern of shitty behavior, and do the Blackhawks want to be associated with a person that brings this kind of negative crap into their organization, because if this story has any kind of wings, it present a very difficult situation for all involved.
The other point was discussing the possible outcomes of conduct detrimental to the sport via the collective bargaining agreement.

He was addressing the concerns and not being judge and jury.
Dan is a blowhard, but it's difficult not accepting that he has a very solid point in this case.

Kane is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. How anyone can think otherwise is beyond me.

Ok, can't argue with that. I had him on for about 5 or 10 minutes and flipped away.

For the bolded, if some charge is brought by LE do the Hawks suspend Kane indefinitely?
